Hi, this is my first time to listen to this channel. I want to mention that while euthanasia is not yet available in HK, not sure if you heard of Advance Directive that can allow individuals to plan ahead for not having life-sustaining treatment if they become irreversible coma
救護員: 病人要到醫生certify先確實死亡, 未certify前都要救, 唔會覺得你賴咗畀醫院.
就算知病人明顯死亡, 死者已矣, 你做既嘢係為在生既人, 畀家屬知道大家都盡力救爸爸, 所以都係有意思.
以前入行時, 見到呢啲場面, 對生死好困惑, senior開解我一句: 閻王要你三更死 不許留人到五更.
會有無力感, 但決定生死既人, 唔係我地.
(me: aed nurse, 我地會分到邊個救護員有責任感/make sense/醒目, 邊個hae XD 如果想, 你都可以做一個特別好既救護員)
