The heavier drum beats add an unexpected level of intensity I think the original piece really needed.

I agree with you, MrCrunchytime. I like this one more. The original was great, but it’s not perfect. Things can ALWAYS be improved. Being an original version of something doesn’t mean it’s perfect, without any room for improvement.

Love this song. This part in the beginning of kh1, the heartless are infinitely spawning. I spent hours here once, trying to level up as much as I could before I had to leave Destiny Island.

You did a really good job staying faithful to the original sound and feel while also enhancing it. My only regret is not finding this version sooner!
They should have done something like this for the 10k heartless battle in 3 would have been way more epic

Yeah, the heartless fight in 3 was very weak. Mostly because of the lack of variety and the garbo attractions
If only we had gotten to face Behemoth Heartless in KH3 and bigger Nobodies and Unversed in the 10k Heartless fight:/ the lack of variety in Nobodies and Unversed was underwhelming
