I think it would be incredible to have a fangame that brought the animatronics like this, more alive and animated walking around. Every night and death that happened they would have different behaviors and different speeches, it would be incredible and maybe even more terrifying than the original game.
Would Five Nights at Freddy's be scarier if they remained motionless, (excluding the jumpscares of course,) or more terrifying if the animatronic moved?
At least in my opinion, part of what made FNaF so terrifying in the first place is that these animatronic robots which weren't supposed to be moving around were doing so in a subtle manner that didn't allude too much into how they were doing it For instance Chica and Freddy are both characters I think great greatly benefit from being static Freddy always stays hidden this way and your vision of how Chica moves is not the probably goofy-looking reality but rather an unseen horror altogether where you only get to see her either staring you down or with her mouth agape And this same idea can go for many animatronics Essentially, I think most FNaF games benefit from not using motion by using static images as a way to hide certain details and expand its own horror and dread

And then balloon boy crawls into the office and takes your batteries but it was 5 am and you didn’t let that slide so you get on that type of timing with balloon boy to teach him a lesson and then when it reaches 6 am toy chica starts queefing the grandfather clock sound to commend your bravery and you get on that type timing with her
There is also Phantom Freddy walking through the window in FNaF 3, Ballora dancing, when you turn on the stage light and Ballora and Funtime foxy dance, and I think those are the ones I remember so far
The problem is that the game was made in a 2D game engine, so animation was very limiting and required a lot of effort on Scott's side. It also increases RAM usage a lot which Clickteam Fusion was unable to handle.
It's terrifying to imagine 10+ entities all in one building taunting and trying to kill you all because they think you're your father. The man who slaughtered them all.

It just lacks any form of consistency, nuance & overall horror; it ALSO has a lot of glitches, bugs & so many other problems that makes it a far cry from other entries. While other entries are pretty much all the same in structure, I’d rather take that over Security Breach’s pisspoor quality anyday.

Fnaf should have some real time stuff tbh, all they really have is foxy running, springtrap moving across the glass in fnaf 3, and i think thats it.
