It's so interesting to listen to this with my hearing loss. The lower a pitch, the louder it has to be for me to hear it. By the time you get to the bottom octave of the piano, it'd probably be loud enough to feel the vibration before I could hear the note. So I hear the falling cascade, then ambience, yet I see the continuation of the pattern. It's rare to have such a clear visualization of what I'm not hearing

maybe its jsut the spicy chemicals in my brain but this has such a calming feel and the music and sound and harmony and shit is just so perfect in such a like, beautiful way and it makes me feel all fuzzy and shit

@@bergenwhitney as someone who played clarinet for 2/3rds of their life and never got very good, piano is VERY intimidating to me lol
@@sjei. Piano is really only like 11 notes, and it repeats through octaves. Once you realize this, you go insane because you feel extremely restricted and all music sounds the same. The controls become muscle memory, without practice I struggle as much as a beginner. Piano is probably the most simple, guitar strings translate the notes a few and I hate how guitar isn't linear like piano. It's basically very easy, but you have to give yourself hours to get comfortable and familiar.
The way he makes these videos is by choosing a key. Kinda like blowing on c# harmonica randomly, it's going to sound good either way in key.

The name "Fading Scapes" reminds me of my favorite dying game, "Starscape," which is fading away as the developer has stopped updating it.
Would love to see this as a midi controller VST so I could connect it to my hardware synths, amazing work
