@@Autz64 this is true, but from that business standpoint, like 90% of MMO games are strictly PC games, MMOs arent that big on consoles. however seeing as Namco is a japanese company mostly, and the PlayStation being so popular in JP, it makes sense.
I really miss Ace Combat Infinity. The Co-Op multiplayer was fun for me at the time. Two teams working together, while also competing on who can get the best score just went well with me for some reason. But maybe I'm biased because ACI was my first Ace Combat game. Who knows.
So- hear me out, okay? What if, in the next Ace Combat game, it was set around the same time as Electrosphere, or at least somewhere before that. And then we get a mission on the Comona Islands that has THIS song on.
Man I miss infinity... planes can be upgraded to fly like the PW.1 from project wingman (looking at you J-35J Cipher) yet everything was pretty balanced especially in PvE minus the FAEB, UGBL, SFFS meta. The fuel system sucked but imagine Infinity with no fuel system oooooo man that would be glorious!
Don't you think the Viper in this game was named after the Viper from Top Gun? Edit: I say this because ACI Viper flies a MiG-21 and Top Gun Viper flies an A-4 which has pretty similar performance specs. P.S. RIP Ace Combat Infinity (2014-2018)
I think Viper is a direct throwback to AC5's Bartlett. His manners, way of speech, trashtalk, all very similar. Also, when he mentions "gotta see my ex-wife for a bit" in Far Eastern Front mission might be another small throwback to "Major", Bartlett's fiance from AC5
