Recent SH4J genII 6X24 owner here, thanks to Joe's recommendations. Upgraded from a perfectly OK Bushy 4X12. We shoot .22 bench out to 100. These (soon to be) 70yr old eyeballs needed a little more help. Got my first station win with it last weekend! Bolted to my Bergara BMR steel, it raised a few 457 etc, eyebrows.🤔 Several were inquiring about my new glass. (these guys run some super high end pieces here, full customs, etc) I fully expect to see a few more Arkens at our little rimfire shoots soon. Thank you Joe and Arken. I have an SH4 gen 2 and it is fantastic. I used to be pretty brand loyal to another extremely well known company but that's slipped away. I'm digging the Arkens. Incidentally, I turned my brother on to the same scope and he's very pleased. That's big for the simple reason he's hard as hell to please (retired combat engineer). The only 'ding' he's given the scope is the parallax values on the dial don't correspond to actual distance. Not a big deal but he's pleased with the scope and so am I.
You set me up on my first Arken. Never regretted it. I have sold/swapped off some “others” that I was told was the “ bees knees”, I have no regrets and am happy to now have six in my stable. I am no pro shooter, but have been able to administer a few “lessons” in the past few years. Joe, we will meet at some point, I am buying good cigars and bourbon.
I've got two Arken scopes and they have been great for the money. On my last order, they forgot a set of rings, and when I emailed them, they responded within an hour, communicated well, and got me my rings without any hassle or trouble. That made me feel a lot better about dealing with them in the future. It's all fun and games until you have an issue, and Arken handled it great.

Joe has made recommendations on multiple scope brands that I had never heard of. Based on his integrity and reviews I have bought a number of them Arken included. SH 6-24, EPL6-24, Tract 4.5-30, Tract 4-20 and a few others. He’s been right on his opinions every time. So much so that now when I buy based on his reviews I send $25 his way to thank him for what he does for us.
I can vouch for Arken getting even better with each iteration. I now have an EP-5 on my 6.5 CM and it does the job well, eapecially at the price I paid for it, it's totally worth the money and then some. I'm excited to get my hands on the 7-35x56, definitely interested to see what the glass looks like.
I have one of the SH4 4-16's on my AR10. It tracks dead nuts on and for under $400 the glass is great. It makes my buddy's Diamondback look like a $20 Tasco.
Have 3 EP5s. Put one on my Tikka CTR 223. Mounted it. Went to range. The scope would not stay in focus through the magnificention. Also, I noticed that the retical seemed to have twisted about 15° to left. Sent EM to GBT (Cdn) on a Saturday of a long weekend. Sunday, he got word from Cdn distributor to send it in. 10 day later I had a new scope mounted on my Tikka. Their warranty works! Scope is working excellent!

due strictly to your review, I now own four Arken scopes. Three EP5 6x24 56mm and One SH-4J 6x24 50mm. So far, all have operated flawlessly. One thing Arken may want to consider is EXTRA HIGH SCOPE RINGS. I have the SH-4J mounted on the new Karma Airguns Red Panda. The HIGH scope rings from Arken will just barely allow the magazine to clear the scope, so I installed the Eagle Vision Adjustable Height scope rings.
I have never owned a bolt gun or precision gun but have been wanting to build one for a few years now. I just saw the release of this scope and it prompted me to finally do it. I ordered the glass, MDT chassis, and a 6.5 creedmoor barrel action. Can't wait to jump down the rabbit hole. I just couldn't justify spending 3-4k for a scope before.
Just used your code on that SH-4J Gen II. Haven't had the opportunity to mess with it because I'm waiting on a rifle to come in. Have one more rifle on order 🤫(wife doesn't know) and I have a feeling that it will get another Arken. Fellow veteran supporting veteran owned businesses.

Now, my comment which I present in good faith, I noticed you do compliment most scopes you review (so do other reviewers) and I can't believe they are all that good, particularly when I read most of the comment that follow. This puts us morbids at a loss as to which scope we should buy, otherwise we will end up buying all scopes reviewed, and that's way we turn to those reviews to get an honest unbiased opinion on what is good and what is bad before we buy. I am yet to find a reviewer that shreds the scope they review, if they are bad, and say it as it is (maybe there are a couple). If I have missed something in how to read those reviews, please let me know. Thank you

Hey Joe, got my 7-35x56!!! Put it on RPR .308 and moved the 5-25 EP5 to my RPRimfire. I zeroed today and was able to shoot out to 400yds before the damn rain came. I was shooting all 120 rounds today on 20X to 255, went to 24X out to 415. all steels today. I was shooting in 11-12mph QV L to R, quartering head. The damn 3” and smaller plates gave me some fits, then refreshed kestrel with the actual wind correctly (still figuring this shit out on the kestrel) but…. after that I hit 7/11 on the 3” at 415. I’m gonna say that the ARKEN at 30X was as fine a site picture as 24X only bigger! Didn’t lose any brightness around the edge till on 35X but you have to be looking for it closely to see it. I love it and the 5-25 only needed 3 clicks of L wind age and 1 mil Down when swapped from the RPR to the RPRimfire. They are both well setup with Arken EP5s. The rimfire is a POS beyond 150yds but am still trying ammos, haven’t tried Lapua$$$$$$ although I should. I did CYCLOPS THE SCOPE and rings and lever and level and shit. Hope is helps.

Hi Joe. Last year I purchased a new Vortex SE 5-25X56. I was not thrilled with it. As a comparison, I have 4 EP-5s, a couple of the SH-4Js and they make the SE look like a Barska. Because I'm a retired, old thrifty type, I also have several of the Discovery PRS models, Gen l, Gen ll, and the huge 5-40X56 (35mm tube). They beat the SE as well. Going EVEN lower in price, just for grins, I bought a CV Life 5-25X56 (34mm tube) from Amazon when they were $199. I was SO amazed at the quality of these scopes for the $, I now have 4! The CV turrets are not quite as crisp as the Arkens and Discovery jobs, but still better than the SE. The Arken and Discovery knobs have spoiled me for life.
If they start doing proper warranties in Canada I’d be happy to try it. Someone started doing discovery optics warranty and I tried their 5 -25 x56 and I love how clear and great it is. For 539 Canadian. So as soon as they do the warranty here, let us know up here in the great white north, we’d be happy to test em out.
I have used Arken scopes and they're good for the money. Compared to the Leupold Mark V HD and the Nightforce NX-8, I shoot tighter groups with the two premium scopes. It's not a huge difference. All three rifles shoot sub-moa.
I know everyone agrees not to buy an entry level scope if planning serious LPS but the truth is many of us can not afford 3k on a glass, hence scrambling to look for the best budget; there is a video comparing Arken to a Nightforce, the simple fact is that the video along being there i had to watch it part 1 and 2, i recommend watching that to see Arken performing, i was sold on it, now planning to go with the gen 1 for a .308 and a gen 2 for a 6.5 creedmoore, even if it takes weeks seems well worth the wait, i had planned 2 eagle strikers but landed on Arken, none of my glasses are more than $700.00; I would have to save for few months to get a high end one.
Nice to see a ARKEN long range scope. I stop at about 18-20 power. Just not enough experience shooting past 600 yards. Magnification past 20x just finds all my problems. lol
I honestly think they do compare to Vortex and Nightforce. I’ve looked through all of them. I cannot tell much of a difference in clarity. It’s definitely crisper then Vortex
I am digging this new one from what I am seeing! I have the sh4 on 1 of my air guns and it is great! I’m excited about the additional magnification and also being used to the platform itself! Should be a smooth transition

I asked you a question the other day in a replay of an old video. My question is what is currently happening when I use the Cyclops code when I purchase an Arken? I have already purchased six scopes from Arken most of them if not all of them were purchased using your code. I'm just trying to find out what is current so I know what to expect I have already ordered the new 7-35x56 scope using your code. I did that the day your did this video talking about the new scope being available. I'm very pleased with them for the most part and I'm not trying to be hard to get along with, I'm just wondering what is current. I do sincerely appreciate the work you do in the videos you produce. I'll have to check it I'm looking get back into precision shooting but like many I'm on a budget but I want basic quality so I can grow. I've heard plenty of good about them from many sources I see as solid people.
Sadly, as you said the G2 still uses the same half mil hash marks as the previous version. I would love to try one someday but until they have the .2 mil reticle I prefer for my competition guns it just wont happen.
Really love my Arken EP5 5-25x56 but I really wish they would use a better reticle for these newer designs. This version being the same price point as the Bushnell MPED it gets it's butt kicked before it even gets out of the gate mainly due to the inferior reticle.
The only problem I have noticed on my SH-4 is that the erector assembly sticks the first time you adjust the scope. Shots won’t move on first adjustment. If you over adjust and then go to your new setting the erector “wakes up” and works fine.
@@dsxz I'm a target shooter. Benchrest and F-Class, I have no use for Mils or FFP. If I was a young, PRS type shooter, yes. I would agree with Mils and FFP. My hunting scopes all use Turrets to dial elevation. I'm just used to using SFP and MOA. It works fine for m. I like my crosshairs to stay the same, not disappear at lower magnification. Hate to open this can of worms here but everyone can make their own decisions. There is no correct answer.

I bought one. It did not stay calibrated. After 6 boxes of ammo to zero it in. I thought I had it dialed in and took it hunting . Again came uncalibrated. Waist of time and money.

I was sold on seeing the quality of the arkens, got my first ar10 from palmetto state armory and decided to go with the 6-25×50 from arken on it.

I asked you a question the other day in a replay of an old video. My question is what is currently happening when I use the Cyclops code when I purchase an Arken?
I have already purchased six scopes from Arken most of them if not all of them were purchased using your code. I'm just trying to find out what is current so I know what to expect I have already ordered the new 7-35x56 scope using your code. I did that the day your did this video talking about the new scope being available. I'm very pleased with them for the most part and I'm not trying to be hard to get along with, I'm just wondering what is current. I do sincerely appreciate the work you do in the videos you produce. I'll have to check it I'm looking get back into precision shooting but like many I'm on a budget but I want basic quality so I can grow. I've heard plenty of good about them from many sources I see as solid people.

Sadly, as you said the G2 still uses the same half mil hash marks as the previous version. I would love to try one someday but until they have the .2 mil reticle I prefer for my competition guns it just wont happen.
Really love my Arken EP5 5-25x56 but I really wish they would use a better reticle for these newer designs. This version being the same price point as the Bushnell MPED it gets it's butt kicked before it even gets out of the gate mainly due to the inferior reticle.

The only problem I have noticed on my SH-4 is that the erector assembly sticks the first time you adjust the scope. Shots won’t move on first adjustment. If you over adjust and then go to your new setting the erector “wakes up” and works fine.

@@dsxz I'm a target shooter. Benchrest and F-Class, I have no use for Mils or FFP. If I was a young, PRS type shooter, yes. I would agree with Mils and FFP. My hunting scopes all use Turrets to dial elevation. I'm just used to using SFP and MOA. It works fine for m. I like my crosshairs to stay the same, not disappear at lower magnification. Hate to open this can of worms here but everyone can make their own decisions. There is no correct answer.

I bought one. It did not stay calibrated. After 6 boxes of ammo to zero it in. I thought I had it dialed in and took it hunting . Again came uncalibrated. Waist of time and money.
