Fury of five were/are the total package. The live shows the demeanor, image but also the musicianship. The drumming, the guitar, very talented and also technical many nuances starts stops intros buildup breakdowns fucking solos. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant, jealous or just doesn't get it. This band was like a fine tuned fucking machine. Every time.. so much so that they always stood out even over the " major label" bands when they did play with them.
I heard E Town on 89.5 WSOU but I dont know why they havent played any FOF songs. Compared to E Town Stikman barely swears lol I am sad that he has personal issues with some of my favorite bands like Sevendust Stuck Mojo and Pantera. I dont agree with Stik's opinion about Phil but what he did at Dimebash was inexcusable. Being drunk can make you more truthful but thats not always the case. It could also make you think you can fly and do backflips. Great job interviewing Stikman. He inspires me to be a better and stronger person. His stories(not about beating up bands haha) inspires me and gives me comfort.
if anyone has fought racism in music it is Charlie Benante and Anthrax... I think Phil has definitely said some dumb sh#t when he was drinking and he has that southern backwoods upbringing but he owned up to his mistakes and made a public apology for his mistake,I honestly don't think Phil is a bad guy an alcoholic,addict yes( from what I hear currently in recovery, good for him) Said some DUMB STUFF, BUT THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL Charlie would do a band with a truly racist mind and heart, good interview, I just disagree with that observation, best wishes.
I'm bummed he never told us about what happened with Gwar. I love Fury and Gwar. Adam 22 and Vladtv need to interview Stikman asap. Edit: This was a great livestream by the way. Host did a great job.
