It’s just such an honest song and so many people are scared to lean into these feelings to find healing and like-minds. Such a therapeutic record. I love y’all
“That one time I opened up to you, it was a joke, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE…”🎵Thankful for discovering this band and the raw emotions they display through their music. Music is the words you can’t say.
I have to cry every time I hear the song and whenever I watch the video I end up sobbing. Great job with the creation of this piece, thank you for making music!
For the first time in a long time. I got goosebumps from listening to this song. Found you guys on other forms of social media about a month ago. Keep you the great work yall! Party on!
Im litarly spaming all people i know with you guys music. You guys deserve to get big. So much talent. Such an nostalgic sound bit still unique. Your music wakes a feeling i havent felt since i was 16. I think you guys dont know how crazy good you guys are
That is an amazing song It was in the background at first to give it a try and I immediately stopped everything else to look at it Good job I like it a lot and it speaks volumes to me
just saw them in seattle last night, they were opening for mayday parade. at first i was just planning to stare at my phone and not even pay attention to this band i had never heard of. then the singer walked up on stage and seemed like the most charismatic guy ever.
This song means everything to me. I adore the band and love their live shows, but how much I relate to the song hits hard. Even though I can’t empathize with experiencing very much racism, I feel like I can relate to discrimination as being queer and schizoaffective (schizophrenic + bipolar). TW I’ve attempted suicide and cut my throat before so it hits really close to home. I’m only 16 but I’ve self harmed since I was 8. There’s no cure for schizoaffective, but I’ve learned with music like this that it doesn’t mean there’s no hope. There are people around me, like those ghosts. They are my hope until I can be my own hope. I’m glad this song has helped so many
This sounds amazing! The lyrics are quite heartbreaking, in a good way. I've wanted to die since I was a toddler because looking around the world, all the countless things I could have, do or become, was all meaningless to me. Then I got abused by my parents since I was 9 tool they made me homeless as an adult, the police were the biggest a-holes I ever met hundreds of times in my life and they would always arrest and hurt the innocent and say they don't care when someone gets physical attacked or things get stolen, at least around the places I've lived, I've attempted suicide as a teenager multiple times but God wouldn't let me die and now I only find happiness, joy and a meaningful life to live it for Jesus Christ. But those memories still hurt, and I meet so many who are going through some serious awful stuff in this world, and there's never anyone who feels something I haven't been able to understand but everyone tells me they've never even heard it thought about the feelings I've had, but I'm sure some are suffering more than I did somewhere. Ever since I was born I just see the world getting worse and worse, and music is a very powerful and comforting thing we have through such times, and these are one of those great songs that I'm sure help people keep going. Thank you Magnolia Park!
This song is also an expression of a deep belief in stoicism, So not l so depressing! I feel for you and your story, I am raising my children and my godson as well just got custody. The stoics believe you should remind yourself almost dwelling on death and it would in-turn make your own appreciation, for simple hellos&goodbyes, as well as opportunities to say thank you, is increased.
I’ve never clicked a video so fast, the is my absolute favorite song by you guys. The message is beyond powerful and touches homes. I have family friend’s who are African American and have had issues with police that lead to an unfortunate incident. This song needs to be out in the world
This band SLAPS. Song hits me, in a different way. My friend OD'd on heroin (narcan saved him), a week ago and I am still fighting to crawl out of this funk and I'm finally getting better.
Never Heard of these guys until today. I skipped ahead in this video to check out the sound. Then I think I see a klansman helping a guy up and i nearly choked on my coke.
