By Adam22's own admission he had a weak website for 10 years that focused on BMX riders that wasn't successful, until he did an interview with a underground rapper named Xavier Wolf; after seeing how much money he can make with Hip-Hop he consciously went out to build a relationship with new young unknowing underground unheard rappers so he can get close to them before they blow up, so when they blow up he can monetize their success for himself as well. Adam 22 seems like he's only involved with Hip-Hop/Rap for the money.
Everybody who gets into the music business (and every other business people go into) as a career is initially attracted by the prospect of making money.
Think of how weird it is to carve out hiphop of all things, as an area that should have been “off limits” to Adam as he came up in the world. You’d have been fine presumably with him deciding to go in any other direction-if he’d started a food blog after BMX, for instance, after deciding it matched his talents, you wouldn’t have denigrated him. But it just so happens, he took his chance on hiphop.,,
However, it takes talent and the ability to actually create something people want to actually make money in the music business. Adam’s success shows he had that talent (a talent you’d prefer he’d never have utilized, for some reason).
So “culure vulture” is a misguided term that misunderstands what it means to make it in any business pursuit.
The fact is the marketplace mercilessly dictates that you must deliver something of value that people actually want to be rewarded, or you will fail.
“Culture vulture” is just what the other crabs in the barrel shout at you, as they try to grab you and pull you back down with them.

He has built a great business but he’s still a culture vulture. he makes money off the personalities of people who have given their lives to hip hop, a culture he does not really understand nor have any concrete connection to. On the real. I think Adam is authentic & comes across as that but Dame seems like one giant “front” for absolutely no reason at all. Plus Adam speaks into the microphone where as Dame and everyone doesn’t speak into the mic and is hard to hear, one would think that one would realize to at least speak into microphone if one is trying to be “professional”. Also refraining from using curse words, especially when trying to get access to a wider audience. It seems Adam comprehends this and rarely uses “curse” or harsh words where as Dame has zero filter. And the crazy part is that it seems that Dame thinks it’s “cool” and appealing to to act the way that he’s acting.

huh? is it because he asks thoughtful and substantial questions? None of his questions were dumbed down rehearse the PR answer questions that everyone gives. Who cares about those fake answers. They were all questions about "who" the interviewee was, "what" the interviewee does that we don't see, and "how" is business doing, past, present, and future. Its only awkward if you're unfamiliar with interviewers who "press" their guests. Dame wasn't even pressing that much. Adam wasn't even uncomfortable at all, he welcomed the questions and did his best to give real answers. Dame was genuinely curious and looks to want to work with Adam as a partner.
