With all due respect, no. He was quite clear that he studied dance tutorials for hours and hours and hours, and taught himself. It is a skill, and he has mastered it. He makes it all looks completely natural, but it was very much an acquired skill, according to him.
Most likely they are ballroom dance shoes, the ones I used to wear while dancing the Tango had a felt like bottom that would glide on the wooden dance floor.
His soles are likely leather, as are the uppers. Back in the 1950s when just about all shoes were entirely leather, people did amazing things gliding across a dance floor. The wooden surface was lightly sprinkled with a special type of powdered wax, which gave you the perfect combination of slip and traction. If you went to a family wedding back then, the women's feet would give out around 1a.m., and they would retire barefoot to the edges of the room to rest their pinched toes. Then the band would get it's second wind and the real dancing would start, with the men jitterbugging in the center of the floor in their suits and loosened ties. Their wild male energy and pure joy were incredible. This reminds me a lot of those old days.

SLOGOMAN🐌
TRUE
VERY TRUE !
So I played this video for an Alzheimer’s patient and she swore it was me and would tell everyone nonstop what a “dancin’ fool” I was. She LOVED watching “me” dance any time I was in her room. She loved this. Thanks bro, if you see this.
This guy has no legs. He has wings.
Stop please! 🤦🏻♂️
He has *swings*
REDBULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅
I watched this video +- 3 times. And his legs. They are toooo thin. I mean his boots are long, but their width is extremly small. I stopped this video some times and looked on his boots. I dont think this is normal
Yuriandro It the camera and your eyes playing tricks, his legs are completely normal, right up until they start moving. Near as I can tell, the lens might be the problem because I see it too.
imagine this dude is your upstairs neighbor.
He makes no noise his legs are 2D
Luna Kitty and smashing 😉
@Luna Kitty and ur husband will be jealous if u spend time with him for the time...
Tbh if I knew he had them dancing abilities I’d tell that dude to get his swing on whenever
lol
So happy that there are still people like you in this world! Congratulations ... I love it!
It's such a joy to see dudes like Sven ripping dance moves to funky, jazzy beats. It makes life so much more worth living.
and they say white people can't dance
xD
+Reus Vult, Ave Sumia

+Reus Vult, Ave Sumia hes german
+Dillan Quijano However, he is white.
+Reus Vult, Ave Sumia I was unaware that German people apparently aren't white lol. according to linktolight01 anyway
Красавчик! Парень сам кайфует от музыки и поэтому танец лёгкий и завораживающий! Смотреть одно удовольствие!
A fool: "Money doesnt buy happiness"

Me after getting my stimulus payment
Never tire of watching him dance and listening to the music he chooses to dance to.
JSM, you are FABULOUS! i just watch your videos over and over and smile and bop around my own place happy knowing that amazing young people like you are out there moving to the grooves with talent and determination to meet and exceed
the moves you have seen and obviously feel bone deep. thank you so much for feeling it and sharing it. kudos. can't wait to see more of your offerings. ;-)
would love a remastered 2020 edition of this, same song, maybe different place and just overall better quality ? still rewatching this every now and then cause its truly epic
Probably the only person on earth I've seen that can pull off a trilby.
Great dancing btw!
Красавчик! Супер! Так всё легко и изящно!
Damn... this guy is becoming my dance idol
He's already my idol, 🕺🕺🕺
His expression is so sublime in conveying the music, he justifiably merits the role of "spirit animal" for many.
I think his secret is that his feet are not actually attached to his body.
Best comment!!)
He's a dancing legend so shut up
Also, he's surely doing it in moon gravity.
Makes sense
@@rememberwhen1139 dude its a joke based on how he moves his legs when he dances
Отлично двигается парень! И весь танец на таком кураже! Каждая музыкальная точка отмечена движением! Классно!
Still one of my favorite videos of all time!
I subscribed to youtube due to someone sharing this young man's dancing video with me. I feel happy when I am watching him and listening to such up beat music. I actually get up and dance. This gives me a five minute workout. So much fun. He is an amazing dancer.
Fantastic sense of rhythm, style and the ability to seamlessly compile all those moves together appropriately. Hypnotic! Such a pleasure to watch you express yourself!
2X speed makes this so good
I must try this
As a swing dancer and a magician, this is beautiful and amazing.
3:43 my favorite move
X2
It was smooth as ice
@Pikachu The Electric Mouse part of electro swing was taken from him
Sven Otten or Known as JSM........
Thanks for the tutorial, I can dance like you right know.
Every time I passed my test, after homework, project, and after taking an exam.............. I always dance like that and at 1:05 I can get a little bit....
Mate, you are way better than your idol....!These moves are insane!
Both are kinda equally good. But both of them have their own style.
...
I still love this one more =)
***** Yes of course both are good....But this guy is very smooth and unbelievably fast!!And movement comes natural...
George Vlahopoulos who is the idol?

Is Electro Swing Dance a new style of modern dance? IT MAKES ME WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DANCE RIGHT NOW!

@Joshua Beauchamp ok boomer
I need to learn to dance like this...it would lift my spirits to just MOVE to the music without a care in the world. Just the beat, the rythym...just to move.
Look up some tutorials.
I will practice this until I can do it in my sleep while adding my own moves. Bloody perfection.
Had to come back to this video after about 10 years because the songs on a game that my daughter plays called synth rider and I had to show her the video of this cool guy that dances to it. Part 4.05 is still one of the coolest walks I've ever seen
