The Avengers Problem

I like Marvel's Avengers...but something has to change. This video wasn't done from a place of malice, but simply because I just want a better experience for those looking for something more than gameplay. I appreciate the devs and what they've been able to craft given the circumstance, but It's time for a change.

It’s a game with so much potential, and like you said mission structure needs a bit of tuning. The Raid was a breath of fresh air with its design and environments, if they continue to add new heroes and content more regularly this game has potential to blow up if ever it becomes ftp. The games launch definitely hurt the game a lot and a lot people haven’t given it a second chance since then.

Destiny had the same issue and they managed to actually turn it around because when the game finally got substantial content after it’s poor bare bones launch word of mouth carried that from a boring empty game into something worth playing and it’s super successful now. There’s no way a game with the Avengers IP can’t do the same but it needs the support. I just don’t see Square giving it to them but hopefully if Marvel/Embracer are keen to working together CD might actually get the team/resources they need to kick it up a notch.

this is the kind of game that can become great after some years.
When Witcher 3 came out alot of People complained until some patches were made and game content wad added

I love playing as Spidey here but the level and mission design is just so nauseating it turns me off

I can relate. Seeing the same things over and over again really blows and it doesn’t help that they design places with low ceilings so characters like Hulk can never get around without it feeling super clunky.

i agree with your points, i have problems with the game, but i still have fun with it with all things aside. And completely agree with the missions, it is the main problem of the game.

Same, I really enjoy the gameplay. Playing with friends makes the experience a little better but the missions need some serious work because it’s hurting the game more than helping.
