Road Trip to Mount Whitney 4K

This was our first road trip to Mount Whitney Trailhead located off of Whitney Portal Road. Tesla's navigation had issues due to lack of internet connections in the mountain areas (Tioga Pass Road). Our drive took 8 hours instead of the 6 hours estimated when we first began our trip. We had 2 unnecessary charging stops because Tesla predicted the battery level to be too low prior to reaching Lone Pine, Ca. After the 8 hours drive, we decided to take a short hike up Mount Whitney Trail.
