I want to Thank the struggling tax payers!!
I broke my back Sept 2023. I also fractured my hip and a foot. I have been out of work and on medical and food stamps. I could get no more help of any kind. A man, .. someone who worked very hard all his life is paying my rent. I don't think he is very happy about it, but he won't see me homeless with a broken back on the streets. It is where I would have been...
I give him nothing in return.
So.. working class tax payer that is struggling...

Glad you can enjoy it easy on medical disability, food stamps and public assistance so you can lay up watching TV all day. Obviously you did not get hurt 'working' or you would have be covered by insurance and L&I. You probably got hurt breaking into someone's house and fell on your METH pipe.
I have nothing against paying extra to help others, its the 400 dollar tabs and the 100 a month I am spending on tolls for the Washington Transportation Agency whose leaders are making 400,000 a year. Why are you whining about the poor people being helped and not pissed the even moderately rich are gouging us in Washington government and public services? Picking the wrong battle man.
A two tier society is coming in to view. This is a pilot for UBI.

I'm in need and will put the money to something productive as opposed to drugs. Giving money to a person or persons who have no money management skills is NOT a solution short or long term. And certainly do NOT give money to homeless folks, addicts, criminals etc...
