To answer Jacob's question about what Assurance is supposed to be: Nathan is about right, it's essentially when an uncle pats you on the back way too hard, but INTENTIONALLY condescending and passive-aggressive.
'Dark' type would've been a bit more accurately translated as 'Evil' type, and a bunch of its moves are much more easily contextualized as basically dirty fighting (which is why it's weak to Fighting, since Fighting is actually disciplined and considered combat). When you know that a lot of its moves make more sense. And Assurance is basically, after someone's already punched you in the gut, their frend slapping you on the back way too hard to push you back in and going 'You can take it, right!?'
I imagine it like the user is making sure they damage the target as much as possible. Kind of like "kick them while they're down" or "make sure they're dead" by making them take extra damage. The Japanese name translates to "Make Sure".

I'm from the UK and no pokemon here, but when I tried explaining Pokemon Go to my Mother in Law she thought you actually caught real pokemon and didn't understand why you could only see them through the phone. I am so tempted to buy this game! I am 32 minutes in and oh Mantine the Manta Ray pokemon is so freaking cute!
I also agree that sword and shield is a game about collecting clothes.

But pronouncing "Es-kah-vah-lee-ay" aka the french way is just a pun between snail "escargot" and knight "chevalier" to make Esca-valier which is just snail-knight

I think Jacob was right the first time. According to the wiki, Escavalier comes from escargot (French for "snail"), excalibur, and chevalier (French for "knight").

Your characters are so cuuute!! Nathan's is my favourite, I love that natural cute style, I style my characters the same way. Laid back is a style in itself Nathan, don't be ashamed of the outfit if it calls to you! Just know that you're the friend they will make climb through the bushes to pick up lost pokeballs so their outfits don't get dirty...

This is completely unrelated to Drawfee, but as someone who is only familiar with the first couple generations of Pokemon, I can't help but notice that, despite the pretty quality of the graphics, all of the sprites just stand around super static and it's giving me the sads.

i guess i'm just wrong but charmeleon was always my fav of the charizard evolution line. I just always thought the cards for it were so cool. Like the old dark charmeleon card from the Team Rocket set was so rad. Just me... okie :P
