Swami Sarvapriyananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order. He is stationed at Belur Math in Howrah, West Bengal, India and teaches at the Monastic Probationers' Training Centre there.
His main interests are in religion, spirituality and philosophy, both Indian and western.

My perception:
Attention is not holding the mind in a task for few hours...its about giving the most priority on a task thinking it will last life long....to fix attention you've sometimes to speed up your task sometimes make it slower.....you have build in regulator for that task...
1.Fix your attention (all works are divine-কর্মতত্ত্ব)
2.Hold that(time)
3.Cut off what says you to focus on(distraction)
Always attention is about time and also stillness

It's so pathetic for me , being a girl ,that we don't get chance to acquire knowledge from those teacher ( Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira ) , who inspire us and the influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom , as well as enlighten our path towards the future.

Cinmayananda is atheist. Atheist. He does not believe in Kṛṣṇa.
Actually the Mayavadi philosophy was started with Vivekananda. Because I don't find in the Christian faith that they are Mayavadis. Their belief is service to God. Of course, they are somewhat Mayavadis. But this real strong Mayavadi was brought from East with Buddhism and Vivekananda's philosophy. (Tamal k Maharaj)

Cinmayananda or any ordinary person, he has to judge which śloka is suitable, which is not suitable. That means he is more than Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa has spoken something unsuitable-which he can judge. This is the position. He said "We will take the ślokas which are suitable and which are not suitable, we'll reject those ślokas. Anyone who is not in our disciplic succession, he's not a human being. Cinmayananda, Vivekananda, this-ānanda, they simply... Ānanda, there is no ānanda. All nirānanda. What Cinmayananda? He is supposed to be very big sannyāsī, what he has done?
"If a
snake is given milk to drink, its poison simply increases. For a similar reason, we should not disclose our minds to the serpent Māyāvādīs and karmīs. Such disclosures will never help. It is best to avoid association with them completely and never ask them about anything confidential because they cannot give good advice. Nor should we extend invitations to Māyāvādīs and atheists nor accept their invitations, for by such intimate intermingling we may become affected by their atheistic mentality (saṅgāt sañjāyate kāmaḥ)."
