I heard this song on the radio, me and my wife have a story together, she's from Philippines I'm from USA. I know this girl for 11 years online before we first meet in person. We both were single. I flew there to see her in person. I married that beautiful lady and had 2 weeks before returning to USA. Slow down summer was this song now reminded me of us. I flew back to her country 1 month later. Gave up my 16 years job then I lived with her for 1 year in the Philippines. I missed her so much! She got pregnant and we named our child after our names together, she then flew here 8 months after my 1 year stay in the Philippines. She gave birth here in USA. We have this amazing beautiful little girl named Jessalyn. Our story still continues, we are heading back to her country soon. Pick up where we left off after my 1 year stay. Everyone is looking for us to arrive, they will throw us a huge get together party. It's true what the saying is in the Philippines, "It's More Fun In The Philippines " and I'm looking forward to it! Love my wife, Love my life, Love our Jessalyn!

Sean - I understand the battle that you've fought, maybe still fighting, life is b*#%# to put it mildly. I'm very thankful that you've found at least some happiness and peace in music, it (and books and writing as well) has always been my saving grace for many reasons. I'm a singer, been singing since I learned how to talk but also a writer (wrote a full length 450 page novel based loosely on my abusive childhood), a mom to five grown children (figuratively AND literally lol), memaw to 8 grandkids with another on the way and wife for closing in on 40 years now (I was 15, he was 19 when we met). This life I've lead has had many, many ups and downs, so many things thrown at us from every angle and all at the same time. Over the years, here and there, it would just be so overwhelming that I considered just checking myself out of life - so I get it. But dude, it really is a long term solution for short term problems. There's happiness around you all the time, people that love you, so many people that you probably don't even know. Look at me responding to you - a stranger probably on the other side of the country. People care and believe this - there are people who WANT to help you, who WILL help you, who will be that lifeline when you feel like you're falling or drowning- there are people who will jump in head first to save you. So, look around you, FIND happiness wherever you can (no, I don't mean in booze or drugs - no happiness there at all!!). When you find it, grab it with all your might and don't let go. Most importantly, when you're at your lowest - reach out to someone, anyone because I'm here to tell you that YOU make this world a better place. Stay safe and God bless.

Gotta have a dose of my daily Rhett! Whatever mood I'm in, he's flawlessly written a song for it. Beautifully written, composed and sung with such emotion in EVERY song. His range, his ability to put that emotion into every song, whether it's sad, happy, breakup, getting together, life, death, summer or winter (you get the jist) the emotion to match the song is always there. That's something I have yet to master. I can sing certain songs almost flawlessly, others I won't even try because if I can't relate to them, to the words, then the emotion isn't there and believe it or not, the hearing the artists emotion is what draws listeners to them and this guy is one of the best. Keep 'em comin' - you're fans aren't going anywhere! If anything, we're sitting here listening to your music, impatiently tapping our toes waiting for the next one!
