I once had a teacher who told us before a test, "It's better to fail a test honestly than to pass it dishonestly." Had Mikey not cheated, and failed it honestly, he probably would still not have been allowed to use the new P5, and still have to repeat whatever grade he was in, and maybe even still be grounded. Another teacher asked some of my class mates if they would rather be grounded or spanked as punishment, and most said they would rather be spanked. Grounded the entire summer? I sometimes wonder how many kids would be tempted, or even try to run away from home for that.
Man, I wish I knew that teacher's saying before trying to cheat on my test in 3rd grade. BUT TO BE FAIR, I was a new student, and I didn't know what we were doing.
