Hi Bob, thanks for the gala footage with work and family I couldn’t get there and again you captured the excitement we have for heritage railways Best wishes Gareth
Bob, Great to see a video from your good self and helping to support the survival of this fine railway. Hope you and Mrs M are keeping well. Regards, John
It was a last minute decision to go John, because of the Stormy weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and hope the SVR will survive the current situation. Regards...Bob
Goodness Bob - what a load of machines they had to view (and ride behind). Pleased to see you were able to get out again and thankful for another excellent video. Take care - Chris
Excellent video came passed on way to my hotel in Worcester at about 17.00hrs! 27th was my 62nd birthday. Spent next day travelling on SVR and a lot of videoing at Highley. What a couple of days!!!
Great Video Bob. Much different than the many trips that you have taken. Lots of the old engines still around and working. Glad you had a great trip and lots of film for us none train riders.
Thanks as always Wayne, it was very windy on the day caused by storm Agnes, which made the on board coverage difficult. We still enjoyed our day...Best wishes...Bob
Brilliant video Bob. Superb onboard footage. What a great selection of diesels on show . As you said. Value for money. A fantastic day of filming. Enjoyable watching . Best wishes C&A
Nice to see some of your updates. I now have some video clips on RUclips. I usually concentrate on the trains that run on the Swansea District Line. Regards Jon.
My thoughts as well, however, she recovered and performed Faultlessly throughout the journey. The sound as she was opened up through Bewdley Tunnel was out of this World!
She was smoking quite a bit on Thursday as well and at one point they struggled to fire her back up at Bridgnorth however, with some persistence, she erupted into life and performed faultlessly for the whole weekend. We had her on the last train of the day into Kidderminster and they pretty much stopped at the entrance to the tunnel before going full bore with 'on Ilkley moor' being sounded on the horn. Wonderful!
I always love how a volunteer who has all day to move a litter bin in 2023 clothing does it just as the only departure in 2 hours leaves Kidderminster, Railways spend thousands on historic buildings etc then a guy turns up in his orange or lemon safety vest for 20 mph running

Thanks very much Gareth, despite the bad weather conditions, we still had a great time there...Regards...Bob
