you can find Cape May diamonds on DE beaches as well. I've found tons of gorgeous ones on the DE bay beaches but I also occasionally find them on the beaches of Cape Henlopen (ocean). happy hunting fellow cape may diamond enthusiasts!
Concrete has stones, pebbles, rocks mixed in. The concrete ship has been deteriorating in the salt water for many many years. I believe the Cape May diamonds are from the ship's concrete.
Polished and cut they look 100% like diamonds and I think they refract light better. So for $50 you can have a really nice ring instead of $5000.

they can be found in Delaware n at the mouth of the river all the shoreline in the bay
I have found many of these and I am nowhere near the Cape May area!
