The waiting list restructure, is perfect for me. Was sat at number 8500 b4 the restructure, but hoping to be bumped into the top 1500,hopefully, now it's based on a pts system from the past 2 years. Fingers crossed within the next 2 to 3 years, will get it back.

Thanks Max, another great and interesting video, have a great time in Greece. Too late for this trip I know but somewhere you really should go in Greece next time is Meteora on the mainland, the monasteries “in the sky” there are absolutely insane!! Also tie it in with a visit to Delphi.

Up the Villa.
Where you are standing at 10:18 used to be the most wonderful bowls green, but for some reason the council gave up maintaining it. They also demolished the Son’s of Rest meeting room, in Aston Park, where a lot of the old blokes would meet-up before/after their games of bowls.
My dear old Mom was the cleaner at the Son's of Rest in the 70's. She went once a week to do the floors etc. and was paid 1 pound.
My dad used to sneak out of work to practice on that green, still with us at 85, villa fan all his life but stopped going to matches last season, sad when that day comes around but still here to talk villa so I'm the lucky one !!

Great video Max , what a beautiful day and beautiful surroundings, on the doorstep of the hallowed Villa Park , a place we must never give up , move away from NO ! it’s history it’s spiritual, it’s our home , extend it as much as they can squeeze extra seats in , but we must not move , not to some soulless out of town retail park , I hope not , not in my lifetime anyway, totally agree with you on the ridiculous PSR , and FFP , rules and limitations, it seems so unfair and uneven, Chelsea and the likes of seem to spend whatever they like every season, on the Grealish situation I say no thanks , he’s on way too high wages, like Rashford, don’t see him slipping back in and even improving us , we should move on with younger better targets, I agree I think Martinez will go , we’re just gonna have to get over him fast, didn’t have the greatest season anyway, but still love him , madness on the last game though probably cost us CL along with the robbery of the goal , keep forgetting we still have Illing junior and Barrenchea , surely they need a good look at in pre season and Barry , though I just dot think Unai fancies him at all , have a great summer Villains !! Why is it some clubs have been punished and yet, Man city are going along nicely not being touched?
I remember not so long ago that you could go to the ticket office days before the season started and buy as many season tickets as you wanted. I gave mine up a while ago, and I got to the front of the queue during covid, they sent email on a Monday and said I had 48 hours to buy it, but my pay day wasn't until the Friday and my credit cards were maxed out due to covid. Bloody annoying to say the least.

Have recently returned from Rhodes, beautiful place. We stayed in a hotel in Kolymbia and had a fabulous time, and as you said, the Greek food is unbelievable. Enjoy.
I agree with others about travel content but have you thought about something you touched on at the end of the video. Do a little feature about the local businesses around Villa park and what’s on offer on match days, i.e. places to eat and drink or activities with the kids, for home and away fans!

Sent offer of season tickets but was on holiday and it was too late by the time I got back and read the email. Wait nearly 5 years before getting offered one again which was no good cause my grandson goes with me. As for Jack, yes I’d take him back he’s still got skill and Emery is a manager that knows how to get the best out of players
I'm one of those people that are on the waiting list for a season ticket but only go to a few home games each season ..but if or when a season ticket gets offered to me I will be snapping it up straight awa..I feel a good fifteen thousand of those 45 thousand on the waiting list are a lot like me..just waiting for a season ticket
Football is too expensive for me now, I am a 70yr old pensioner and I have been a Villa fan all my life so I can't afford sky sports, so I am stuck with match of the day.
Thats a shame. Sorry to hear that but I'm sure you are not alone not his. The prizes are too high on both in stadium and TV / streaming subscriptions. Football should be for everybody.

A 630 seat increase added to Villa parks current capacity of 42.918=43.548 in total with the new North stand to be completed some time in 2027 that's going to take capacity to 50.000+ which is very much needed with so many Villa fans unable to get match day tickets,also to make a dent in the season ticket waiting list, although I'm not totally against Jack returing to Villa i really don't think it's a great move to bring in a nearly 30 year old injury prone player that's currently getting £260k per week & is £100k per week more than our top earners. Unai has no sentiment towards Grealish & destroying our wage structure isn't a good idea & may cause resentment within the squad with some players getting far higher wages than others who would no doubt want pay rises aswell, with the current PSR/UEFA's version of it that we're already exceeding by quite alot & are expecting to be fined because we have to comply with 2 sets of rules now we're playing in Europe. We are better off buying young players for smaller fees & on low wages to work with the experienced players we already have that can improve under Unai & coaching staff, it's not a wise idea to be splashing out money that we haven't got on big name players who bleed the club dry & directly or indirectly the costs get passed onto fans one way or another, it's shit to see the enormous fees being paid out by certain clubs i don't need to list for top players & yet Villa are forced to sell,but it seems we are where we are & although it sucks we're doing well under difficult circumstances overall,many good times moving forward i hope.....UTFV!!!!

I know we hate talking about it but after the PSR ruling this week that still allows clubs to sell to themselves essentially. Reckon Villa are working on something for right now or would it be to short notice with legal side & paperwork to sort etc
We could sell the women's team to our parent company and sort the domestic PSR in a heartbeat!!. But in Europe we've still got to get out wage % down. I'm still not convinced that Emi is going, both Unai & Monchi have publicly said he's not. If he went to Man United I would be fuming, both at the club & at Emu as they're not even in Europe. Atletico Madrid I could understand. But I really can't see us wanting to bring in 2 new keepers. If Emi wants to go, ok well him. But if not I can think of many players we should get rid of before even considering one of our best keepers in my lifetime, only difference is Bozza won a trophy!!. It's a no to Jack for me. I want younger signings with higher ceilings on cheaper wages!!! 🦁 UTV

Would welcome him back with open arms and be hollering Super Jack the moment he walked through the door. Im happy to sign anyone Emery and Monchi is happy to sign... i didnt want rashford and look how well he played. Hopefully Jack understands he was the enemy that day and we did what we could to give us an advantage. You cant play for the enemy and get cheered simple as. I would prefer to sign younger players on less wages with a higher ceiling. I don't know why Jack's dad thinks his son should get the red carpet treatment every time he comes back. He got a.fantastic reception the first time, it's 4 years later, he's just an ex-player now. We booed him to put him off as he's an opponent & it worked. His Dad's reaction was so OTT. Don't want the circus that a return would bring, he's at the level Coutinho was & look how that turned out. I'd be happy for Grealish to come back as hes still class player but could only see him coming back on a loan deal like Rashford. He would not get the time on the ball like he used to get under Deano and would have to adjust to Unai style of play which is a fast paced and lots of running.
I'm hoping we can keep Watkins this summer. I imagine Arsenal are going to knocking again at his door.

Not really, not all other clubs have made Europe 3 seasons in a row, not all clubs have had a few massive transfers recently, from Grealish to Duran, some clubs have 115 charges and yet can splash as much cash as they like

When Grealish was first linked with a return a couple years or so ago I supported the idea, now I'm the complete opposite. Has he even touched a football in the last year? I don't think he would be an improvement on anyone in the current squad. We need fresh faces, preferably with experience playing in Europe.
I'd take grealish back on loan with the right wages...uni would get him back to his old villa best .

Guys! Grealish left for city at a whopping 100 million. He could have left the year before to united for 40 million.
Grealish signed a extension on his contract however with a clause. That clause gave the club the foundation. We owe grealish. He loves this club. Just look north and see how Trent left a boyhood club for 10 million.
