Had a lesbian wedding 9 years ago, 13 guests total which included: 2 vegetarians, 1 pescatarian, I coeliac disease, 1 anaphylactic dairy allergy, 2 anaphylactic shellfish allergies and 2 people who gag at the sight of mushrooms. None of these were my wife or me.

Very small during the pandemic we got married at our home by one of our best friends who wore a ref outfit and we wore US soccer jerseys (that's how we met in Canada at a world cup game) and we wore white Nike joggers. Low key, simple and fun!!! And we streamed the wedding for everyone who couldn't make it.

My first Lesbian wedding was mine, 3 months ago. I coordinated the whole thing and still payed a wedding planner to pretend to coordinate on that day, but still I did it for the most part :p. It was beautiful, lots of handmade details, among me hand-making 100 names in calligraphy for each guest’s seat and of course our dog was flower girl and her name our signature drink. There was romance and lots of gay references and an abundance of queer people going to their first queer wedding, everyone kept saying it was such a detailed and carefully planned night. I loved setting the standard ;)

I've been to my lesbian aunts lesbian wedding, what made it very lesbian was that they wore matching pant suits in different colours. And my cousins, sister and I dressed in the colours of the rainbow. And of course the officiant was also a lesbian.
I had a small straight wedding and there are a few unusual things I liked - it was in an small authentic Italian restaurant and we had a buffet with vegan options. Our photo session was in an abandoned ruined metro station with beautiful grafitti walls. I had a short simple wedding dress because I was pregnant. And I had a bouquet of yellow tulips because they are my husbands favorite flowers and he didnt know beforehand.
The only lesbian wedding I’ve been to was my own. And while it definitely had touches of lesbian (like the welcome sign being a photo of our cat) it was not nearly as gay as y’all are workshopping.
