44:34 for SOTA rules. Great video
RIP Jerry! You'll be dearly missed by the community. With all that shared knowledge you'll live on with every SOTA activation
Found your channel by chance. Glad I did. Lots of great info. Keep up the great work. Bill, MT
Thanks Bill! I’m lining up some more trips to the high country these days because it’s too hot down in my area and I like to explore other states while activating. I’m active on Twitter if you’re there too 👍🏻
Great to meet you briefly on the trail to Pacifico last weekend. Thanks for the water too. Dude, you've got one hell of a grip. LOL.
Haha! Was great putting a handshake on you guys. Let’s plan to do a joint activation
KG6HQD Jerry Absolutely. It will be motivation to get my general.👍
Get after it!
I miss seeing new videos. Hope all is well. Thank you for all the content you have put out.
Great presentation Jerry! Thanks to this I found out I have a couple (non-activated) summits I could almost walk to from my home QTH and dozens more within easy driving. And there are all the APT peaks not too far away and............Mt Katahdin.
I GOTTA get home soon.
Sweet! Lots of fun stuff to do with SOTA & the season is upon us once again. 👍🏻👍🏻 go get them
Great video! Thanks for sharing all this info
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Thanks for checking it out :)
I can't wait to get my license and go out and try SOTA.
Are you scheduled to take your test any time soon? If you know somebody who is licensed and willing to go out hiking, take them to a SOTA peak and then you can talk via 3rd party traffic. That'll make sense once you have your license and your "Elmer" will be able to explain it to you as well.
I don't have an in the flesh Elmer, I have been using your's and Hosh's videos. Not scheduled yet but looking to take the test early or mid-August around by birthday.
apollonarfbrain that’s awesome! Where are you located? Any Summits near you?
KG6HQD Jerry I live in Phoenix plenty of summits but right now it is a little to hot.
apollonarfbrain no doubt. Well get your ticket & I’ll head your way once it cools off and we can hit some peaks. 👍🏻😎
hate concrete too. 25:58 :)
Website links to some photographer?
Ya, I just fixed that ... should be back online now
Fixed, hope you are able to link up with us still Evan.
