    I just want to confirm this: So the SPAC is a public listed company and then acquires a private company.

      The intent of a SPAC is to take a private company public. ^CH

    Very well explained. This is what Donald Trump did with the stock DJT. the SPAC was digital world acquisition company (DWAC), which acquired DJT. thats why it had any market share and value to begin with, and when the inital investors started pulling out it crashed into shit.

    Sounded like a fair roll of the dice until the part about the sponsors paying a penny a share and the general public paying $10 a share. Let me guess: The sponsors are already rich? And thus we have another example of the haves taking advantage of the have-nots. I would do it if it were not for that.
