The fact that he didn't get any stronger or get ANY more abilities/ mastery over his technique after TEN YEARS is fucking bonkers, Dude was literally relying entirely on those spirits and it is EMBARRASSING
As a character tho he's real tragic, getting left all on his own to do missions, failing to keep up with Gojo because of how bad his head was messed up after hidden inventory, all while Gojo was (seemingly) getting better and leaving him behind. I feel for him and understand how his brain led him down the path he chose
But that doesn't change the fact that he is A GENERATIONAL FRAUD-ASS BUM

To give geto some credit he emptied half of his arsenal of curses in Tokyo so he kinda fought yuta being handicapped, jjk 0 was written before the main series takes place so at the time domain's, simple domains didn't exist yet and he's technique is basically broken anyways so giving him a domain would just give Kenny even more plot armour than he already had
He knew he was gonna go up againist gojo as he knows miguel won't hold him for long therefore he should have prepared for the worst hes just not him

Who would have thought not giving him and Jujutsu high a proper distraction would Mean you would lose immediatly for having to fight them off.
He had 0 plans on fighting Gojo it was a kill Yuta get Rika and leave plan.
How you have a technique and 27 years of experience with your own body and still use it worse than someone who only had a year
If your talking about kenjaku, it's because he literally is the smartest in the verse and actually HAS 1000+ years of experience unlike sukuna, who was only arround for 1000 years (because most of that time was as a finger)
If your talking about yuta, its because yuta is fucking broken and is also a prodigy, he can heal others, which only 3 people in the verse can do, 1 being one of if not THE best at healing others (shoko, who also helped gojo learn RCT when he died) and the other being the strongest sorcerer in history who is sukuna.
His technique is to take others technique, so he could probably get cursed spirit manuplation,and as hopefully everybody should know now, even his domain expansion is broken, as he can just use all his copied technique.
All of that for yuta, and he STILL would had gotten cooked by the same "bum" who didn't have RCT, domain expansion, domain application, or anything else, and that's not even me taking about rika, the strongest cursed spirit (sukuna isn't one and mahoraga is a technique)

And the crazy part is, again, GETO WAS STILL GONNA KILL YUTA, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS 1 OF THE BEST POWERS, HAD THE STRONGEST CURSED SPIRIT, has boundless cursed energy, and can heal others with RCT, even though only 2 other people can do it, and thats shoko the doctor of JJK and sukuna the strongest sorcerer in history.

Kenjaku definitely brought the full hidden potential out of Geto's body - mastering RCT and Cursed Technique Reversal (not the same things, RCT heals sorcerers and harms curses, but CTR is when a sorcerer applies RCT to their CT and reverses the technique's effects (Gojo's Red, for example)), as well as mastering a barrierless Domain Expansion
With this, Kenjaku/Getwo sits comfortably next to Yuki in terms of power, but not above (her Black Hole could've killed him alongside the planet, but she only stopped it because everyone would fucking die); we can't say who wins between Kenny and Yuta, since Yuta just pulled a surprise attack on him, but I can say they're relative as well
I definitely feel like you're not giving the OG Adult Geto from Movie 0 enough credit though - because it was stated by Kenjaku that he would've beat Yuta if he didn't split his cursed spirit forces into two to attack Tokyo and Kyoto
And as far as RCT and Domain Expansions go, we know that Domains are damn near impossible to use for most sorcerers - heck, even Yuki couldn't use hers against Kenjaku and instead resorted to Simple Domain, ultimately leading to her death; speaking of Yuki, even if she does have RCT, hers doesn't seem superior to Yuta's or Uraume's
The requirements to be considered a Special Grade sorcerer are:
1. immense CE quantities
2. an amazing CT
3. the power to single handedly overthrow an entire nation
Geto was considered a SG because he fulfilled requirements 2 and 3, as his CT allowed him to amass endless cursed spirits to attack all of Japan (as we saw him attempt in Movie 0, which he would've been successful in doing if the other 3 SG's weren't there)

That's a valid argument though,unlike megumi who has to do it on his own geto can grow exponentially stronger without having to do it on his own.
I think Geto's fate is meant to be rather pathetic. He is basically a madman who lost friends, saw and could not handle the horror of being a jujutsu sorcerer, and then got whooped by Toji (after Toji put a bullet in a child's head), to the point where it just broke him and he went crazy. The Geto we meet in zero is simply a rabid mass murderer. The Geto with potential to be a good man long dead. The tragedy is that he could have been so much more. I think the reason Geto never established a domain expansion was because he was simply too broken to have the level of control that it would take manifest his innate domain. Could you imagine what that would even look like?
Also I think comparing him to Kenjaku isn't particularly fair since Kenjaku gets all of his memories and basically can use him like a manual while adding his 1000 years of experience to the mix. Kenjaku is also legendary for his level of commitment to his schemes, so while the daily grind of swallowing curse spirits probably took its toll on Geto, Kenjaku was probably thrilled at each new disgusting taste.
In short, I think Geto is a tragic character in Hidden Inventory, but by the time we reach Volume 0 he is well past the point of no return.

Whenever I saw Gayto call everyone monkey, I was like : You're the monkey king.
I remember Gojo saying that earning the title of special grade was 90% inherent talent (cursed energy output, and cursed technic), while the last 10% was drive, mindset and skill. and I think Geto got fucked up in that last 10%. Kenjaku (I know I spelled his name wrong) showed us how powerful, useful, versatile, and deadly his technic could be in the right hands, easily strong enough to take over a country (or continent? I don't remember which it was that classifies you as a special grade). and to be fair, Gojo got cooked by Toji too, so what happened? simply, I think that after that lose Geto stagnated. he mindset and drive became to toxic to allow him to grow, and so it stunted his growth. that's why Gojo left him in the dust, why Yuta beat his ass, and why Yuki was so much more broken than him. his mindset was toxic, and so he lost. he could've been great, but his trauma, ego, and racism got the better of him, and got him killed. that's why he's considered a special grade sorcerer, why he deserves to be classified as a special grade sorcerer, and that's why he's the worst special grade sorcerer. he wasn't born a fraud, but he was made one
yea, but also matchups between him and the other special grades isnt favourable for him. Even if geto reached his full potential, his ct is a bad matchup compared to yuta and yuki, and gojo too obviously but that's a given, he one shots anybody not named sukuna

I think he would've grown a lot more and been in the level of other special grades if he hasn't fallen down the path he did. And I don't wanna spoil nothing, but his CT is a decent match up for other special grades, and I'm not gonna spoil nothing more

I personally disagree, I think the failure of the technic had more to do with Geto himself and his mindset but I kinda get what you mean with Yuki. I disagree with Yuta though. I think it's pretty on par with him
@@R_AM02 kenjaku relied on his domain and anti gravity on yuki after realizing curse spirit manipulation wouldn’t work on her. And nah geto wouldn’t be able to be on par with yuta, after kenjaku got killed and every single one of the curses escaped, yuta and rika were able to exorcise them all, so amount of curses geto would have wouldn’t matter as much as well. Plus yuta can output rce so any curse in existence gets one shot by yuta because of that. Not to mention yuta’s domain

I like Geto mostly in the sense that I like how if you watched the series in chronological order you'd probably assume Gojo is the one who's going to turn evil; he's a stuck up little edgelord with white hair and Geto's his friend who knows how to talk to people. Geto being even more fucked up than Gojo and no one noticing that fact until it's too late because jujutsu society runs on child labour is phenomenal storytelling.

As another geto fan, it's pretty easy to understand why geto didn't pull off a genocide, and that's because gojo would had just fucking killed him. So he decided to try and get rika to have SOMEWHAT of a chance.

(Not as a geto loyalist, just a JJK fan): In defense of geto's grade, he most likely received that based on his danger level. Similar to Yuta. Yuta had 0 experience but was labeled as a special grade on the spot because of the potential danger Rika posed if she escaped.
Someone mentioned that they were unsure what would happen to all the curse spirits geto possessed if he died, so he was practically a walking curse bomb in the eyes of the jujutsu world. He was also known to possess various special grades (as shown in JJK 0 and JJK S2), but because he deployed half of his curse arsenal before fighting Yuta (and he was extremely cocky) that contributed to his loss.
This video however was an interesting take, regardless of the comedic theme. I applaud your analysis. Love this anime and the community surrounding it, including the lobotomized ones.

I like how like 3/4ths the stuff we see this man do in the series isn't even him doing it lol, because his body got taken over so it's not like he has any real accomplishments. Every single one you think of, you're like "no wait, that was Kenjaku." His body beat Yuki, a special grade, no wait, it was Kenjaku. His body started the Culling games, no wait... etc etc. It's like this man was born to take Ls. He loses to Toji, wastes all his curses, and THEN gets his body snatched and disrespected by Kenny.
In Geto's defense he did have a supreme art which is a mastery of your CT right below domain expansion. Gojo was constantly trying to learn RCT to be able to use red and was pushed to achieving it by being at death's door. Geto most likely felt he would never be able to reach Gojo so when he was near death's door he didn't have the drive needed to unlock RCT. Also its unclear if Geto's CT has thousands of years of knowledge wrote down for him like Gojo's limitless. If Geto was flying blind in mastering his CT its no wonder his progress was so slow.
what geto has that makes it easier to use his ct compared to gojo's is that the concept of geto's ct is very simple. Absorb a curse spirit and use its powers. Geto's problem was not learning about the secret to uzumaki which is extracting a semi-grade 1 or higher curse's ct if you use it in an uzumaki. Not only that, but geto thought you had to use all your curses to form uzumaki, and didnt know you can use multiple but not all just so you won't lose your arsenal which is pretty much the biggest advantage of being a curse spirit manipulator (the army that you have). Obviously his other problems were going a step above supreme art and learn a domain, and also learn rct.
Gojo's ct is straight up physics and you need a whole set of special eyes just so you can actually use it and even then there's no gurantee you can master it to its full extent until satoru learned how

And there was no "written down" knowledge of limitless, you still have to master just about everything on your own. Basically 0 progress in 10 years hilarious especially considering how much he wanted to change the world lol.

Geto couldn't learn RCT when some lawyer who didn't even know anything about Jujitsu before the culling games and was basically just self taught managed to pull it off within one minute of being in a life or death scenario.
Yet he couldn't learn anything new after dipping for ten years.
Geto... I ...he's my favourite... And his reasoning for his actions is ... Dumb... I believe (copium) he was nerfed to a point while others were hyped up soo much that his special grade characters seem no longer THAT special. Also, majority of the JJK0 he wasn't serious at least Until Yuta's fight (but you can't blame him, he's copying everything) also, compared to the 10 years while Geto was recruiting and accumulating curses, he really didn't have anything hard to exorcise. Or at the very least anything which could further hone his skills. He was unprepared for a hand to hand (his fault) he should have trained... (Kenjaku made a way better use of his techniques but it was all experience)
Conclusion: I love that guy. At least he's honest and still committed!
