I visited Sri lanka during New Year and was totally surprised to see the beauty of this country. The mesmerizing coast line, rich Flora and fauna and cultural artefacts. The best part was the amazing Weligama beach where I tried surfing for the first time and Whale watching tour where we were lucky to see 3 blue whales. Cafes in Mirissa are also a really great place to chill. I think Sri lanka was one of my best memories of travel out of 26 countries I have visited. Thank you people of Sri Lanka for keeping the country so Beautiful.
My wife and I have visted SL twice. Don't forget to visit the beautiful of Jaffna in the North. The 6 hours trainride from Colombo makes this visit even more special. Jaffna offers lots of good restaurants and there are many old and nicely coloured temples to visit.

Yeah absolutely... Some of cities you cannot even see a crow.. It means how much the cities are clean... and If u travel to Trincomalee or Little England Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka... It is prohibited to put garbage in public places and if you are got caught you might be fined.. The Urban councils of the twons are strictly concerned about the clean of cities here

Missing are: Akurala Beach, 8 km North of Hikkaduwa; Hikkaduwa Beach behind the coral beach at the public access, between the bar and the administration building of the Hikkaduwa Marine National Park with many beautiful fish. I travelled 31 times to Hikkaduwa and other places in Sri Lanka.

Hikkaduwa Beach behind the coral beach at the public access, between the bar and the administration building of the Hikkaduwa Marine National Park with many beautiful fish.
I travelled 31 times to Hikkaduwa and other places in Sri Lanka.

Well, from the Access at Hikkaduwa beach you have to go one Meter to the right, to be within many Fish.
I do Not Know now. Maybe, I Know in the end of October.
