Los Angeles is uniquely placed with its multiple world class sports facilities. The LA 1984 games showed the way.
PS - another mega sports event that is changing its method of delivery is the FIFA World Cup 2026.
PS2 - although touted as a no build Olympics, event could be used to build / update student / academic workers housing or housing for homeless.
PS3 - recapitalizing sporting venues in neighborhoods is a great idea.
