Since I do not know much about barbers tools.. Do these cordless have different attachments/guards? I've got them too. 100% the closest to a true cordless Master. Magnetic motor, similar blade, magnetic guards, lever with notches on the side, whisper quiet, 4 hour battery life. Game changer. Too bad you can't use double magnetic guards

Well let me tell you that the 50 cal caliber clipper is a cordless magnetic motor it is posible they just want to go with the much cheaper rotary motor
Different motors are better for different things. Rotary is all around the best cutting clipper for every hair type wet or dry. Its great all around whereas a magnetic motor is better than a rotary clipper imo for cutting shorter hair like from skin to a 1.5. Thats why the masters is my fav fading clipper. But it is not my go to clipper for knocking off bulk or cutting the top of peoples hair unless its very short. I use a rotary or detachable clipper for anything above a 1.5 it just works better. Also magnetic motor allows you to hear pretty much every hair being cut that feeds into your machine. My theory is andis swapped to rotary to make this a better all around clipper instead of using the same type of motor and making it only good for fades. They are competing with the wahl seniors and babyliss gold fx after all.

This machine looks like the masters but it is not the masters. The babyliss fx880 I made cordless magnetic runs 4hr it's charges micro USB and has a master's blade on it lol I been making them out my garage from since the clipper came out lol
There might be a problem with the battery try to clean the connector of the charger and the clipper with a little bit of cool care Make sure it's dried off all the way before you try to charge again

Rep on the phone said they got in trouble with Andis for posting that price and the actual price is $225 with free shipping. What sold me is that they will ship the day they are released, not weeks or months later like other barber supply sites.
You can use household kitchen foil, dish soap and water to clean and polish that steel. Look up foil taking out rust off of chrome without ruining the chrome. It's better and safer than steel wool without ruining the finish. I use it all on metals all the time
All I can say is if you like the masters you'll love the cordless Masters. I think the masters of always had the best blade and these's have a lot of power I would say these are better
I agree with some people on here they're kinda expensive I'd rather stick with my magic clips theres nothing the CAM can do that I can't do with my MC the only thing the masters got on my MC is the sound they make when cutting hair but all I gotta do is slap the blade from the wahl legend (and I do have one laying around) on my MC and problem solved idk $250 is kinda steep, I can get 3 pair of cordless wahls for that price smh
Are these as trash as they seem? The power is 15-20% less than the senior/magic cordless. The box says 7200 SPM’s but that’s like horsepower on a car. The motor does that without any resistance but you add the blade, heat, hair, etc etc.... it’s more than likely in the 6k spms. HORRIBLE effort by Andis if we are just looking at specs but it could be like the Oster Fast feed..... lower speed but performs great. I think I might stick with my caliber .50 calls though.
The thing about the clippers is the power never dips down it's almost like a detachable if they never bog I think there's a computer chip in there that keeps the power from lowering when it's going through thick hair

They can't be magnetic. It would draw way too much power for lithium ion. They don't even sound magnetic. That is definitely a rotary motor sound

I had the same question. Rotary motors produces less heat than magnetic but metal housing also contributes to the heat.
They need to make them magnetic it's easy to make them magnetic with longer runtime than the rotary to easy lol
