About savings. In Gulf countries, you need to save. Once you retire they pack you up and send you back. Also In Gulf every thing is funded by royalty from oil sales. I don't know 🤣how long that is going to last. Last two years I have not bought more than 50 liters gas per month. One full electric and other one a plug in electric cars.
In Canada for children school is completely free and university education is heavily subsidized. You can study in world class universities for peanuts.
About savings. You only need a normal rate of savings. When you retire, for a working person there will be OAS, CPP and some employer sponsored pensions. Health care is basically free. Most provinces offer free medication for seniors.
Myself and my wife are retired seniors. We get about $56,000 per year as OAS and CPP. together with our retirement savings (RRIF) paid off houses and cars and savings, we are living in extreme luxury. 🤣😅. Also I am glad I don't live in a congested or desert country.

For a happy human existence in Canada, for every 10 positive points there are 2 negative points. In india for every 2 positive points there are 10 negative points. In Gulf countries except for " income tax exemption " the rest is all negative. People forget every negative aspect of Gulf living because of money they make which is slightly more than india. I'm talking about middle class here. Rich do not count.

Life should be orderly for humans. Sub-human and wild animals lead a disorderly life. When people start enjoying free life without calculations and order it means they are coping out and looking for excuses to blame others.
