EU Emergency Assistance to Disaster Affected Populations in Papua New Guinea

Following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck East Sepik early this year, IOM, funded by the European Union, provided critical humanitarian assistance to 250 displaced families. The aid package included shelter kits, hygiene supplies, and cooking essentials, significantly improving the living conditions and well-being of the affected population. This support has played a vital role in helping these communities recover and rebuild their lives after the disaster.
