    • @WherewegoingNext
      @WherewegoingNext  4 года назад +1

      Gabriella Olah it’s not that it’s rough, but there is a very strong undertow. It’s like this because the beach going into the water is very steep, making the water pull you out when it returns to the sea. Quite dangerous.

    • @gabrielreyes8133
      @gabrielreyes8133 3 года назад +2

      @@nathaliajavier6937 Hi Nathalia, this is all based on my experience, after talking to a several of people staying in the other two hotels, I know that since the other two RIU's have access to Santa Fe, they both come to experience the pool party and the rest of the amenities, and they all have agreed that Santa Fe it's more fun, now I have gone to Riu Palace and it's beautiful, but boring, I will recommended if you are 60+ years old and want to have some quiet vacation, which you still can do at Santa Fe, in other pools that are away from the beach, it's more calm, the only thing I will suggest is If you really want to have a nice memorable dinner, try to make a reservation outside of the hotel, their restaurants are ok, and some are better than others, but very basic, nothing extremely fancy or exquisite, but If you don't want to leave the resort, then you have a few options of restaurants between, Steakhouse, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and International I think, but regarding the staying I will still insist in Santa Fe, If you want to upgrade your staying I will suggest building #7 which is the section of the resort facing towards the ocean! I hope this comment is valuable to you and will help you make your decision on where to stay in Cabo San Lucas. Any other questions I will be more than glad to answer them! ✌

We were disappointed that the RIU Party was closed and so were all of the shows like the Jungle Party and Greek Trapeze due to Covid-19. We also learned the hard way that downloading the RIU App before leaving the states is really important to avoid huge roaming fees. My phone was able to download, but my husbands didn't and I was unaware he was using it so we got a bill for $500 on his phone and paid yesterday - ouch! Also we traveled United and they have an app to download prior to the trip to access wifi in the air and watch movies etc. since a lot of the flights no longer provide movie viewing. Planning a Trip to Cabo, and stuck between Baja California and Sante Fe. Your videos are so detailed and I LOVE that you took the time to make these! Question: Staying at Baja California are you able to attend pool parties? I want to nicer rooms and food options but still want the party scene one of the nights. What all is avaiable for Baja Members at Sante Fe (Drinks, food, events) or is it only the water park? Thanks in Advance! I hope youre able to answer.

      @WherewegoingNext  2 года назад

      Thanks for the kind words! 😊 glad you enjoyed!
      From what you said above, I would def recommend you stay at the Baja California! The resort is much newer, so better rooms and HEATED POOLS! Plus, better food and selection. You have access to the other RIUs (Santa Fe and Cabo San Lucas) and yes you can attend the pool parties and events - although we aren’t sure what events are still on due to COVID 🤷🏼‍♀️ when we were there pre-Covid, we ate and drank at the other 2 RIUs without problems. Hope that helps!

      The beach is not swimmable in front of the resort due to the undertow. You would have to walk to the right about 10-15 mins to reach a swimmable beach. Not sure about January, but we went in march and the water felt pretty cool. Another thing to note is that the pools are not heated.
