That's the worst part. Feeling stuck. Trust yourself because no one knows you better than you. I won't lie to you its scary, no ones wants to be broke but the freedom and space to think has been amazing. Good luck girl!

yesss I love this. I was unemployed for 6 months in 2021 and it was HARD but also the best thing for me. I feel like everyone should take time to be unemployed if they can! Def recognize it's a privilege to do, but just that clarity and connection to yourself like you mentioned is amazing and needed for us all

Its really opening my eyes to how risk adverse I've been. Granted we all love our comfort and security, but not if it's costing us our peace of mind and valuable time. How did you manage? Did you have savings or pick up other opportunities?
@@ReginaSaraSarpong Yes exactly! I was able to get more clear about what I wanted from my life, realized I no longer wanted to be working more than what I'm paid to do, and truly protect my peace. Honestly, I went into a lot of debt that I'm still working to pay off now. SO 0/10 would NOT recommend. But I ended up getting a part time job and then finally finding full time work again after the 6 months. I went unemployed so that I can focus on my art and growing that business, but I got trapped in the inability to handle what having an abundance of time was like, so I was kinda paralyzed NGL. If I were to give my old self advice, it would be to not stop believing that my art could make consistent money and work towards that everyday even if it was just a teeny bit.
