I picked up the latest rpr last month. That's the one to get. Beats everything on your list except for probably your custom. I have a full custom $5k M40A5. Got the new rpr for $1700. Accuracy/consistency wise, the rpr is right up there with the M40
Yeah PGW is pretty quiet. they don't seem to push much for marketing or sponsoring that i've seen. could be one of the best products ever, but without marketing, its pointless
If my budget was $2300 for a target/ prs rifle i'd take the B14 HMR over the Tikka in the chassis, I would use the $700+ in savings to throw an Area 419 arca rail on the HMR stock and a TT special or diamond trigger and a good muzzle brake. The tikka is not one bit more accurate than the Bergara but replacing parts and mags is damn expensive in comparison. Same for the savage 110 Elite Precision. I have one and love it but the aftermarket trigger options leave alot to be desired coming off Triggertechs. The finish also isnt up to par with Bergara or Tikka. Aside from the smoothness of Tikka actions i will never understand what all the rave is about unless you compare off the shelf to off the shelf. Even then, I have to give the off the shelf to bergara nowadays since the tikka doesnt do anything better, costs more and has worse aftermarket support.
I have been researching my face off for days. I want to build a long range rifle i Live in BC dont really have a range t shoot long range here but i want one regardless this video was so helpful. I found a used axis 2 precision at prphet river for 1300.00 think im gonna pull the trigger or go with the howa apc canadian flag paintjob but doesnt accept aics magazines
I didn't want to comment anything because I support any small channel, but when you said Savage anything... Someone give me the cliff notes. I had to go back to cat videos.
I think you forgot the Bergara B14 BMP. I'd swap it on your list for the RPR and leave the RPR off the list. Glad to see the Tikka TAC A1 was left off the list. I love Tikka, but to me the RPR and TAC A1 had all sorts of issues for their price point and it made more sense to buy a used barreled action (e.g. Bergara B14 or Tikka CTR or light and eventually replace barrel) and drop it in an MDT chassis.
I don't know about the others, but as a lefty, I bought the Bergara B14 HMR as my first left-handed bolt action as a gift to myself, and I have been quite happy with it. Be aware of the weight if you also plan on hoofing it in the woods with it.
i got my Tikka ace target in 6.5 CM midnight bronze for only $1800. still trying to find out the best ammo for it though, i've only brought it out twice and tried 7 different ammo. started w/ the cheapest and working my way up.
@paulkainer269I found on my Tikka T3x Ace Target in 6.5 CM to be the Federal Premium Gold Medal with 140gr Sierra Matchking. Excellent consistency at 300yds for 3x300 competition. In second place is the Hornady 140 gr ELD Match.
@canadiangunz1 hopefully the target will be available in more calibers next year. It's not currently available in 7 prc or any magnum for that matter...
loving it, ill never sell mine. excellent in every way. the only downside i can say is the bolt isnt as smooth as some other customs. but accuracy wise its top of the line
I feel like the cheek piece doesn’t go low enough on the pro butt stock so I took mine off and machined my own super low profile cheek plate. Got the nvd bridge kit with taller scope rail and A419 high one piece mount and it’s perfect now. It’s the xs model in 308. No regrets.
budget has many different meaning for everyone. im looking for the starting point where you see the key features show up. if you are looking at 500$ there just is nothing for precision rifles, you would be getting a hunting barrel action and then just spending more and more to make it something that it was never meant to be.
people dont like them that much their action doesnt feel like a typical action, the way the rear of the bolt is and it feel a bit more clunky. aside form that, a a properly trued action and a top quality barrel is what makes a rifle and the precision elites are exactly that
Very much disagree with you on this one, as they are a great valued rifle for what you get. Anyone looking to get into a budget friendly rifle should consider them as their first rifle, and they should upgrade when they can afford something better. I believe that the value for most beginning shooters is perfect, and the shooter can work out what the gun likes.

I’ve never heard the word smooth and savage action in same sentence
Glad you are back. I had to resubscribe.
LOVE the flag on the rifle
I got my Bagara HMR 14 during covid for $999. A steal
What caliber & what kind of groups are you seeing?

EM Precision is located in Vegreville or Spruce Grove Alberta
I was just looking at a PGW 6.5. Havent seen them alot in the last few years.

the Cadex Pro is a 3 lug 60 Degree lift
How can it be that there is no MasterPieceArms BA on the list?
Tikka T3x CTR? thoughts
Seekins Precision?
Have both. Seekins is really good, 0.5 moa, love the barrel change. 9/10. Tikka is 0.34 moa. Most accurate budget rifle
I want a tikka ace target but in 7prc
If it shoots a inch or better to me it’s worth keeping
Are any of these scopes available for USA? I would love to get that one you featured on this video

go with the Howa APC
Yup and they will all be added to the list !!!!!!
well we havent seen any precision rifles added to the list. then again i want to buy a property in USA so im safe!
I didn't want to comment anything because I support any small channel, but when you said Savage anything... Someone give me the cliff notes. I had to go back to cat videos.
Im looking for someone like the fix by q or the sig cross for around 1000-1800$
Thanks why does nowone speak about the Bergara premier compotition. ? Thank you what do you think about that rifle? Thank you
Please include timestamps
What do yall think about that Savage precision elite impulse in .338 lapua magnum?

What issues with RPR?
Do you have any conflict of interest with Cadex ?
What would be your recommendation for a left handed shooter?
I don't know about the others, but as a lefty, I bought the Bergara B14 HMR as my first left-handed bolt action as a gift to myself, and I have been quite happy with it. Be aware of the weight if you also plan on hoofing it in the woods with it.
Bergara only kept their price the same because you may or may not get a good one. That company has terrible QC.
to be fair your #2 "custom" rifles looks identical to the tikka lol
Bergara in Europe has skyrocketed in price. Howa still cheap. Savage cheaper like Bergara. The best price/quality is offered by Howa, CZ and Sabatti.
what was that about owning the tikka ha!
i got my Tikka ace target in 6.5 CM midnight bronze for only $1800. still trying to find out the best ammo for it though, i've only brought it out twice and tried 7 different ammo. started w/ the cheapest and working my way up.
I am sure your aware. Let it cool off between ammo types. We all would like to hear what you discovered as good and less optional
@edwindham305 mine prefers the one with the Berger projectile!
@Erik7prcI have a suppressor on mine. That may account for the difference. 🤷🏼
Reload. You'll get better results
PRECISION CRDEMORER 6.5 BEST
What happened to your original channel ?
I'm wondering the same thing! There's still videos on his websites, but they say the channel was deleted.
yep RUclips deleted that channel
for what reason? they just fking delete someone's channel running for many years??
I'm considering the Tikka ACE ''GAME'' in 7 PRC. In your opinion, does the lighter barrel is a deal breaker for precision/ long range target shooting?
yes for a 7prc a heavy barrel is it
There are aftermarket barrels you can get for the tikka. Just as an option to pimp your ride to your ideal tikka
get the target not the game though
@canadiangunz1 hopefully the target will be available in more calibers next year. It's not currently available in 7 prc or any magnum for that matter...
@Astro-ck6mh the only problem with 7prc is trying to find ammo for it. i found 3 types and i had 2 of them with chambering problems both hornady.
What happened to your Epik Arms channel?!
youtube took that channel down, now im just an employee on this channel ;)
@CDNprecisionThat was one of my favourite channels! Well, I’m glad you’re just an employee now.
lol yes me too!
I was looking for the Bergara B14r video last week to show a friend.
what do you comment on the CADEX?
loving it, ill never sell mine. excellent in every way. the only downside i can say is the bolt isnt as smooth as some other customs. but accuracy wise its top of the line
@CDNprecisionwhat CADEX model do you recommend please?
depends what the purpose is, for PRS they have the seven stars pro. it has everything and more that you could possible want
@CDNprecisionWhat do you think of their CDX-Lite series?
I feel like the cheek piece doesn’t go low enough on the pro butt stock so I took mine off and machined my own super low profile cheek plate. Got the nvd bridge kit with taller scope rail and A419 high one piece mount and it’s perfect now. It’s the xs model in 308. No regrets.
almsot 2k and up is not budget...

cheeto
I bought a Tikka Ace Game .223 and it is not accurate. Is it because of the size of the small bullet? or the rifle? Very disappointed.
well its the game. if your shooting 55 grain nope need heavier how far are you trying to shoot it??
@canadiangunz1 yes I am shooting 55 grain in a 50yd indoor range. All my other rifles are 6.5 Creedmore and they perform well
@peterlkwan8316 try the 75 i believe it is, and tr different ammo to not just one.
I’m shooting 69grain out of the Tikka 223 ace game… it loves it! Also tried 73gr, 75gr & 77gr… all good with these as well…
@ZuriBasaraI changed the bipod and the scope. Now is reasonable
Tikka Ace #1....😐
Pristine actions are no good two guys i know sold theirs aftér a season
why did they sell theirs?
The HMR at Scheels is a grand. Would never ever pay 1600 for a HMR
You're going to have to change the paint job when you become the 51st state. AMERICA!!!
i look forward to that day every day!
No savage belongs anywhere near the "top ten best precision rifles" who are you trying to kid. They are freaking junk. Freaking casuals
They are?
my 110 elite precision eat anything with REALLY nice grouping .... with handload it's insane savage are usually really accurate for the price
people dont like them that much their action doesnt feel like a typical action, the way the rear of the bolt is and it feel a bit more clunky. aside form that, a a properly trued action and a top quality barrel is what makes a rifle and the precision elites are exactly that

I have a 1300 bergera that’s shoots as good as a 6000 dollar Barrett mrad I have
