Summon damage is good because if you're going summoning you can go both spell %dmg and summon %dmg and get really insane dmg stats overall. Also 3.9 exp per second is A LOT. If you get 2 items with that much exp per second it can almost carry a run on its own.
If you get even more than that, and get some xp% bonus maybe, you can basically get so many levels that you cap out all god abilities so that every level you either get legendaries or the fates
i agree...sadly.. for summoning build...only mort is really viable...all the others need master blessing to spawn a dragon or a ring with a dragon...it feels slightly... sad@@FlyingButterHorse
Warped strike is insanely strong on the caster, it makes all of your stuff homing and there are other ways to get more numbers Its also one of the only ones with no negatives
The one negative I have about this game is that you can't do certain builds that would be fun. For example you can't stack a bunch of on dash effects to make a dash build.
41:55 don't know about the guy who said phantoms are on death only but i tend to mix up its long description with the xp dropping on death, and then realize it's not the one i wanted. you drew both at 42:25
Kinda curious why u don’t pick up necromancy in ur summoner runs. Ik the birds and soulstealers are good but I often see u ignore it. Besides that loving the content wander
@@aoihitori Either Mort or Time. Mort because of Soulstealers and Mayhem, Time because of Gem High (Time is otherwise a p underpowered god without Gem High).
You're crazy for sleeping on Time with Merris. Warped strike plus gem high? And if you're running mort and get execution too? Crowds melt before you. After that it's single target damage you lack, which is only an issue with Drac himself and can be offset with Summer or Winter. Time bubble is also good and vortex can stop bosses mid-charge though lifelink is obviously the better dash right now.
Everyone got the reroll cubes if they met the conditions. I got two, one for each character that I beat the game with. I have yet to have seen any other items of this rarity in the game, in my gameplay or in other content creator's videos.
Won my first run today. Unlimited Pickup-Range, Time with Auto Attack and Gem stacking, Blessing for shield and Frost for damage scaling with CC. Was just zooming around the map while auto attack was on. Was a pretty absurd run. Probably not viable in high difficulty though i assume you just die in minute 4 or 7. :/
Flare combined with Smited and a lot of luck... Justice also means the shield. That's got to be the basis of a No Hit challenge run right? Lots of evasion, movement speed, and then maybe Time for Gem High? EDIT - Fire also comes with a screen clear legendary right?
How come you don't get Mort's Deadly Strike?? It says it resolve's curse immediately, so to me that makes it seem like it'll be perfect for the boon that increases your damage when curse kills an enemy. That way you don't have to wait for curse to proc on its own. Seems like it would be great for the spinning barbarian dude. Or does it not work that way??
you focus to much on movement and defensive things and not damage. imo, thats whats killing you. Also the dash heal only heals you to something around 20%. it doesn heal above that, its an oh shit button.
My general logic is that if I can have one-shot protection above/around 30% HP, I can use the dash to heal back up fairly easily and be functionally unkillable. This feels necessary since the lack of heals makes DMD hard to survive for a full run due to sheer attrition, especially on higher difficulties where half a second of CC can and will kill me. I should focus on damage, but the heal dash has largely been the reason why I make it to Dracula, so it's hard to escape its gravity.
@@wanderbots The heal dash only heals to 30%, no more. thats all i was saying because some spots you say the healing looks good, but your health was over 30% so it wasnt activating. But just giving advice. I play a lot of survival games and roguelikes etc. Ive always found max damage, attack speed and careful movement beats out healing and defenses. Early on they are ungodly, but the farther along you get in a game they start dropping off because you just dont have the damage needed to kill stuff.
The 30% legend offer type buff is crazy strong. And i could be wrong… but it really feels like having legend buffs helps get master ones… or at least avoids white/blue ones. Pair with some tier up chance buffs and ur golden.
10:30 campy happer 😂😂. Love to watch you play the game

err,,,my boots give 7.2exp a second.... its not that much...
@@sylphsylph2118I think the point is that it boosts your early game super hard, meaning you can kill faster earlier, making you get more exp overall.

You should've pressed shift while hovering on new equipments to show the potential change in stats

prostagma is an ode to age of mythology.
You don't know where "Prostagma" is from?!
You Monster!
It's in greek but it is a tribute to Age of Mythology.
The reason to have spell damage and summon damage affect both is that you can double up. 2 sources of damage scaling is usually better than just 1.
Luck is definitely the single strongest stat in the game, its just a bit hard to test HOW strong reliably

Feels like Mort and Summer are two must have gods to win.
Mort, kinda. You can replace Summer with other gods.
Which God is the best tho?
@@aoihitoriIn a vacuum, probably Time.

Trail of fire is a hella strong dash, it really helps fight the mobs/hunter types

Check the skills with tab and it now shows accumulated bonuses on the skill.
You totally could have said mortatorium. Im not sure if it would have been better or not. Lol

feel like attackspeed boosts helped a lot during not getting hit runs, shield was also great, 55% evasion betrayed me.
....and we have a patch with a nerf to Flare.

If an enemy has curse when they die, it counts, no matter what specifically kills them- so the mort attack boon isn't super crucial.

I get 2 poison dragons, on amulet and on staff its fun
