- Did i dream ? Could one of the best songs from Simple Minds latest album be reinvented as a live opener in the style of the famous "verona 1989"gig ?
That's what i tried to do with this cover. Celebrating the brilliant present with the sound of the old days... 2022 has been a great year for us simple minds fans, with a great tour, a fantastic new album and an unique fan convention in Glasgow. Thank you Simple Minds and all the fans around the world for this incredible musical journey.
Let's go further in 2023. Happy new year !

This is simply wonderful! Could easily be listening to the band playing in the late eighties as it sounds so much like what they were producing at that time. Without wanting to sound rude, as I love the vocals, an instrumental of this would be sublime as well.
Thank you a lot Jason, for your comment. I did my best to recreate the sound of Simple Minds in the late eighties, the sound i love... You're not the first asking for an instrumental version, so i will make it, and maybe with a better CP80 piano sound to be as close as possible from Mick spirit... Stay tuned !

Thank you for this feedback... being a massive fan of Mick and his playstyle, i've tried to imagine what he could have played... Now i have to find a better CP80 piano sound and record it again to make an instrumental version that will be very close to Simple Minds sound. thank you again for this comment !

The Best track on their most recent album I thought that the other songs on their album were a lot less memorable in fact they are pretty awful compared to this GEM of a song, it’s all in the vain of their classic sound from years past 👍😀👍
