About story
The story follows a young girl narrating her experience of an unexpected earthquake while crossing a river to get to school. As the earthquake strikes, panic sets in, but her brother advises the boatman on how to safely navigate the situation, and they reach the shore unharmed.
Once they reach a village, they realize that the community, under the guidance of a woman they lovingly call "Maa," is already well-prepared to face the disaster. This reflects the importance of staying calm and organized during such events. The girl's reflection highlights the crucial lesson that being prepared can help people overcome even the toughest situations.
