1:12 Devon Borden full send under Macri going into 3. If it would have stayed green, and Dietz executed a 360, this race would have been a lot different. Borden's lack of experience, he makes-up by over-driving the car so much. He can be a little scary, when you try to pass him. Jacob Allen's squirrely unpredictable driving style was enough to keep Sweet at bay for 25 laps at the Knoxville Nationals prelim last year.
What was the crowd like? With the outlaws racing one state over, on the same night. For the exact same pay to win, no less. Interesting scheduling. Competitive. I'd say Dewease doesn't win @ Atomic. And Skyler Gee doesn't make the show, much less get a top 5 @ The Grove. But Gravel wouldn't have extended himself at either place, stroking home a 4th place finish at both tracks.
