I'll be honest with you. Listening to this music at 1am while I had to study made me so sleepy that I was finally able to take a nap and get rid of my exhaustion. When I woke up I continued my studying while listening to this mix. It was perfect!

I used to live on the Blue Ridge, near Grandfather Mtn in NC. This reminds me so much of "home," the photo and the music both. Lazy winter weekend afternoons, just going for a stroll in the snowy countryside. I miss it so much.
It says so much about the world we live in for so many of us to find peace and solace in these notes. Whether we are seeking sanctuary from a terrible time or refuge from a maddening day: we thank you.

This reminds me of studying in the middle of the night before one of my exams, i realized that no matter how much coffee i drank i would not have energy enough to keep myself alert enough to study. It just keeps you from falling asleep but as the hours went by i noticed how less and less was being done by the hour, knowing i had to hand in my exam the next day. I remember going down stairs just sitting there as the sun came up stressed out of my mind to the point of almost having a psychotic episode just wishing things away. I ended up passing with a D-
hey man, that's rough but I wish you the best. remember that it's not worth it staying up that late, makes the brain malfunction and all that work done during the term prior would be erased as your brain goes into a starved state. good luck out there

I myself stayed up for two or three nights straight to finish work on one occasion. Looking back now I find the stress I put myself under ridiculous, I would never risk my health like that again.
I fought to achieve many goals in my life. Some were accomplished. Most of them did not. I loved, I was loved, I hated, I was hated, I laughed and I cried. Now, at the age of 50, with the leftovers of the epic 80s and 90s decades and with a strong remaining cyberpunk feeling and vibe in me, I live totally isolated, totally alone, spiritually exhausted by other people's vice/malice. What is remaining right now? My best..."friends": a good book, a good video game's storyline, a sci-fi/fantasy movie, a simple, humble crossword. I wish all the best to you, to your lives, to your lovers and families...

I made some big changes and lost some idiots who I once called friends but also found others and strength from them - I hope you can as well. Think what it is about life you can change to feel more alive - change is hard but ultimately you will evolve and grow as a new person
