How can you access time capsule on macbook pro over internet if you have the time capsule away from reach. Please can you provide detail video for that.
what one has to do with "Unlimited (default)" option? Shall we leave "Unlimited (default)" as it is and keep on adding the MAC addresses of the devices?
You should delete it if you want to give access to only whatever that MAC addresses are there. Otherwise, any device with any mac would have unlimited access.
But "Unlimited (default)" cannot be deleted. "Unlimited (default)" remains there but remains "disabled". I have been using Apple Extreme for past almost 6 years but I have tried MAC address filtering some 2 years ago. Anyway, thanks a lot Sreedhar!
@@aniket86 Hello. I had the same question. Select Unlimited (default) under Wireless Clients: ... the under Wireless Access Times, change the selection to No Access. Save and the Update. it will take a few minutes but the result should be what you're looking for.
☠️BLACK BARON☠️ If I make a change on one Apple Airport device, will the MAC addresses be updated automatically on all other Apple Airport devices? If yes, how do you exclude a MAC address on one device then?
Thank you so very very much. Great video, clear and concise. A big help to me.
THANKS VERY HELPFUL :) Thanks for putting this out
Very helpful! Thank you so much.
Thanks for this tutorial. I guess mac filtering is enough since there is a neighbor hacking wifi network and get free wifi. 😅
Very helpful. Thank you!
If I were to change the settings on my computer, would any notifications show up on another computer about changes made to the network?

Hi Cathy, yes this procedure should work well. Please make sure that your firmware & software are up to date.
