I’ve just started the process of ditching the dye and growing out my grey. I’m sure people see my silvery roots and think, “poor thing, can’t get to the hairdresser.” But great way to use this product! So easy and economical.
Somehow while the rest of us have settled into nasty sweats, putting on the quarantine 15, and no makeup (or maybe it's just me 😂), you some how look as gorgeous as ever! Thanks for keeping up your videos and keeping us smiling!
Or this could be the perfect time to grow your natural silver out ladies. I stopped coloring a few years ago & I could not be happier. I get complimented like crazy everywhere I go. Definitely going to use your idea for my eyebrows though! 💕
Kensy Skye I waited until my late 40’s to stop coloring my hair so I understand but I’ve had premature grey since I was 20 so I could have done this a long time ago. 💓
I tried the highlights touch up with the knife method. I used the back of a plastic knife and mixed the bleach with 20% cream developer so as to keep the consistency just right to stay on the knife. It was easy! I just did a little bit and it worked perfectly! Thanks!
My very first experience with you was today when I was directed to your very first video from five years ago! You are just the cutest and super helpful. Since I am stuck at home with my husband and kids, it's great to get advice from you in such a light-hearted way from a woman who makes me laugh....ugh I miss my friends🙄 Thanks for the advice!😊😊
Just to clarify. Amazon is prioritizing shipments, BUT you can still order anything and get it. It will just take a few extra days to get there, even if you have Prime. My boyfriend is a manager at a Amazon disty center. They have put massive precautions inplace for their employees too.
And I learned something! I die my hair and I use that stuff that gradually darkens greys but it only works on longer hair. I may try this stuff. Thanks Lou! And by the by, you’d look hot with greyish white hair.
Really looking forward to your blonde root touch up video! I desperately need to get my roots covered up, without making a fool of myself 😅 I am so scared I’ll ruin my hair! I need some great tips!
You are just great!! Thanks. Question: Is there a way to protect the old highlights when covering grey with lowlights? When I rinse out the lowlights it makes my hair darker all over.
Hi Lou, new subbie here from Susan from Little Poet here on YT. She mentioned your use of a knife to highlight. So I watched your 2019 video using Jolene and now I'm watching this one and decided to subscribe. Looking forward to watching your videos ❤💚💜💙💛
I have the red hair gene which takes longer to start going grey. So even though I just turned 48, I don’t have a lot yet. About 6 months ago, I started noticing random silver threads and decided I would stop coloring my hair because my silvers are coming in. I was just wondering why I watched this entire video. And my internal dialogue said, “well, because it’s Lou”. 🤣
I have super bleached out past shoulder length hair with roots that are dirty blonde/Grey. It's super dry except My roots and scalp which is normal to dry. How should I highlight the roots to match the current color as a beginner male... *I feel I must include the last part for obvious reasons. Also this is the first and only time in my life I will grow it out. I just found and love your channel even though I am a male in his early 40s.🙂 Thanks for the helpful and entertaining conent!
I was wondering about just for men....Thank you! Anyways you can buy the professional stuff on amazon.. My stylist says you must use NN hair color. It is for those resistant grays and is more saturated. you use equal parts mix your color with 20 volume developer. 30 volume is if you really need to lighten it. Do not use 40, do not use 10.... This was what I researched and was told. mix equal parts in bowl, DO NOT USE METAL BOWL... use plastic or glass they say. Apply and leave on 30-33 minutes. Start timer when you start to apply. rubber or plastic gloves and an old towel.. :) Condition after.
The name of the shaving cream I buy translates to "for only real men" - I've been 'a real man' woman for years, as it is the cheapest decent shaving cream out there; pink expensive products are not fooling this real man woman human!
Soooo glad you are bored enough to do more vids! Love the other channel and Ava's new bathroom! You were definitely not just another pretty face! 🙄😁😄🤣🤣🤣
Sorry lou, dont do this, your hair will be a mess when you cover it properly with color later because the chemicals used in mens dye works so fast. You will have a streak of brassy hair where you did this. I had such an experience, unless that is a look you are going for.
I love your brow video and the highlights video, but I call fake news on some of the info on this video. I'm a hairdresser and the- I'm 50 and have NO grey? ....said no 50 year old ever...😊
Whoa! Eyebrow dyed using the mustache and beard dye! Mind blown in the best way possible.

I always color my own hair and thankfully stocked up before the quarantine 😊

I'm 36, getting grey and I don't have a lot of hair. I look like a balding eagle.
That's what I'm doing. I'll see if I make it. Gray seems to be the new color now. Thanks Ericka♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Ericka In America I’m not grey enough yet for it to look good but I definitely will be a silver grey lady one day! 😃💕
Kensy Skye I waited until my late 40’s to stop coloring my hair so I understand but I’ve had premature grey since I was 20 so I could have done this a long time ago. 💓
Theresa Morgan I always thought it would make me look “old” so I waited until my late 40’s but I really like mine. 💓
Thank you Lou! What a great tip. Stay safe and healthy.

You’re so funny!! I love your personality. Take care🥰
Good to see you again! Stay safe. ❤️

You are my hair hero....I love you
You crack me up..... its me!!

❤️❤️❤️
Question, do you wait the 5 mins between each new part or do the whole head part by part then rinse. But then the first will be more that 5 mins?

You’re adorable 😱
Hi
Hi Babe.
I tried the light brown just for men and it’s gone really really dark 😨 idk why?
Shall I try the blonde?
I love your brow video and the highlights video, but I call fake news on some of the info on this video. I'm a hairdresser and the- I'm 50 and have NO grey? ....said no 50 year old ever...😊
sisterkate10 I have a few. Not enough to show up on camera.
sisterkate10 was 53 when my hairdresser said “it’s time”. Up until than she told me nope. Genetics, said this 50 +
I’m 48 and still don’t have any grey...& I check thoroughly and often! So your info is kinda fake news...aka incorrect 😉
Why don’t you do it on someone who actually has grey roots?
Why do you think I didn't?
Social distancing...
Meanwhile, here I am at age 36 and I'm at least 50% gray 🥺
