I loved the Paramana Strangers when I lived in PNG in the '80s. I am listening to this song again and it brings back nice memories of and nostalgia for PNG that gave me my beautiful wife and best friend.
Paramana Strangers (PS) was my late dad's favourite local band. These songs are timeless, as he would say. I grew up listening to PS and and other PNG oldies in the 80s and 90s. I will continue to listen to these oldies in his honour...🙏
Has been my favourite growing up in the Highland, last Papua. Made a trip to Aroma Coast and set foot at Paramana beach and their home land on 16th and 17th November, 2018. Walked on their Black sandy beach and savoured the cool memories of their songs against the odds of ocean breeze and waves breaking on the shores of Maupa 2. What an experience. Love you Aroma Coast. I'll be back, for sure.
This song brings back memories of my late uncle. We took a cassette home (AROB) in the 80s, and he loved it so much that he danced on the beach digging up the sands trying to do the hula hula
