There is a red ball that Kintaro has been using for years.
Kintaro rolls it around, chews on it, uses it as a chair, and uses it as a pillow.
The red ball is worn out, full of Kintaro's teeth marks, and broken in several places.
So the animal caretaker gave Kintaro some new balls, but Kintaro still loves and uses this old ball.
The old ball is much softer than when it was new, so that may be another reason why Kintaro likes it so much.
I'm looking forward to seeing how long Kintaro will continue to love and use this ball.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

Have you seen how big the shoulder, arms, and back muscles are for Momo and his sons? Look especially at Gentaro! He has to be bigger than Kiyomasa. His shoulder muscles are more pronounced. All the climbing those three do gives them those muscles and strength!
I remember when he was younger playing with his brother Gentaro. Gentaro picked the ball up in front of Kintaro and threw it behind him - like he was saying “you want your ball? Go get it!” Just like older brothers do! 😂😂😂 Kintaro charged his brother and started swinging his arms at him 😂😂😂.

I feel bad for kintaro😢 because he doesn't have a sibling to wrestle and play with. Gentaro doesn't seem to want to play and little gorillas have to play and romp or they stressed and unhealthy, which makes me sad..
I wish kintaro well....hes my favorite now over Gentaro.
It isn't the condition the toy is in, it's how it makes you feel...

Why? Because that pretty much the only enrichment he’s received… 🙄
