Psyonix never ceases to amaze me at how good they are at making bad decisions! Many, MANY, car hitboxes are terrible and don’t fit the model, and even if they want only 5 or 6 standardized hitboxes, most of the cars have a better hitbox out of those 6 they could have used. And don’t even get me started on how stupid it is that since they wanted extra game modes and competitive modes to be on the same screen, they couldn’t figure out how to fit 3 normal game modes and 4 extra game modes on the same screen so they decided to get rid of one of the extra game modes every season.
What? Why though? At this point they should just make unique hitboxes for every car that resembles the model more. Would be at least better than this and if some of them turn out too OP they still can tweak it a bit.

Or at least make another standard hitbox that fits the models that are too long for an octane but not shaped right for a dominus. Doesn’t make sense to just pick on that’s the closest fit and then just shoehorn the shit in there.

I genuinely thought I was losing my mind testing out this car. The way you lose momentum on touches is INSANE, I thought I was just getting bad touches. Having the wheels reach past the main hitbox is the craziest oversight of all time
I just wonder why can't they just make a hitbox the same as the visuals of the car. It shouldn't be that hard, and it would be refreshing in this gameplay loop.
One last thing , your orange boost meter throughs me off cause the whole time i thought you were team orange, turns out your just a blue in disguise 😢.

Video Idea: do a mode where the car body is the actual hitbox, aka a cube, plank or ... as the hitbox. No more issues of not having a car body that visually matches the hitbox
