Dude....i thought I had seen guitar covers of this song before that were done well........this was superb, creme of the crop, top shelf, guitar God, str8 KILLIN' IT!!! Have loved this song since I heard it featured in "Electra"....one of those songs you hear in a movie for the first time ever, or maybe for the first time paid attention to it bc of how it was used. Loved it and jammed to it many times since....

Excellent technical ability, chops, and overall feel for the song; almost a symbiotic relationship with it, which some other covers, though still incredibly talented, are sorely missing.
It's the main spark I think that makes Slash, from GN'R, such a legend, in that he's not quite as skilled on a purely technical ability as some other well-established guitar icons. But he has a deep, intricate, and soulful connect with both the guitar itself as well as the overall harmony and vibe of the entire track.
You seem to have a spark of that, I can tell. I hsve been playing guitar since probably before you were born, or close to! Lol. Despite this, I remain "average" mostly due to lack of practice as I got older... something I am seeking to rectify presently, while I am still (somewhat) young, lol.
Just know that nearly every guitarist, newbie oe legend, would give their left leg to have that quality in spades, ESPECIALLY when they're young. Don't be satisfied with simply "making it big/becoming popular on RUclips or whatever, would be my advice.
Use it as a vehicle to mold the road in life you wish to take, and keep yourself grounded with it ;)

What on earth do you mean by "techniques"? Like hammer ons and pulls offs? Or the palm muting?

Nick Stevens Man you posted this stuff on every Hollow cover out there lol. The chords in the chorus are called barre chords because you "barre" the 3 low strings with one finger. Look up some tutorials on those.
