Vauxhall-like Morrissey, nailing Elvis' vibrato, Killers on coke, almost bordering on some Stephen Morris, with side of Strokes vibes - I mean, wow. The comparisons are gonna fly with you gents, but what you have collectively is just utterly unique!
Wow. I had the exact same reaction. Well, almost... The guitar riffs with the Morrissey-esque parts of the vocal made me think the Smiths instead, because that's definitely the style that'd make Johnny Marr smile, haha.... It's almost like an assembly of pieces of old outdated computer parts were recombined with some new pieces to create a brand new machine
I someone describe them as Roy Orbison meets the Smiths. :) I love that jangle guitar... very Marr, and the vocalist definitely has Morrissey tones. So far I'm loving it...
Few bands like this arrive on earth.. I am BLOWN away.. They can probably go on forever. PURE talent and a mix of so much that I love.. Yet absolutely original... This is something else completely..I am stunned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been so long since a band hit me in the feels like this. I didn't think at my age I'd be blown away by a new band again. This lot are absolutely outstanding.
I dont know where to start about this extraordinary rock band !!! New to me when i heard them on tv and ran to RUclips to get their name its now about 3:30a.m. and i am still amazed to hear the powerful voice of the singer. I am as excited about the drummer as I am about him.!!! When he adds more to his drum kit jt will be like Im listening to drummer Roger Taylor, the .most incredible drummer ever to walk this earth !! THIS BAND COULD CONCEIVABLY SOON BE THE NEXT GREAT ROCK BAND AS WELL AS GOOD AS THE LEGENDARY BRITISH BAND QUEEN OF THE 80's and that is the ultimate rock band ever! The singer has a fantastic but different sound but is potentially as powerful a singer as the once in a generation musical genius Freddie Mercury. And please have the lead guitarist 🎸 listen to the great Brian May both playing with Queen's full band and also his solo's. They have a chance of becoming huge in the music world. Best band ive heard in decades ! !
I was at their show last night at The Bottom Lounge in Chicago. They opened for The Last Dinner Party. BCMB knocked it out of the park!! I predict that they, and The Last Dinner Party, will be a LOT bigger one year from now than they are today.
I think Annalisa (WXRT dj) is correct. In a few years, we (the 700 who bought tickets) will be bragging that we were there. An amazing chance to see two soon to be renowned bands together early on. And kudos to whoever booked this dream combination. @@djovanovi
heard this on the way back to work after my lunch break *car radio* . it got stuck in my head .. kept saying the band name till i got back to my desk in case i forgot it before i looked them up haha
Reminiscent of Depeche Mode performing "Just Can't Get Enough" live on Top of the Pops back in the early '80s - that incredibly lush, smoked velvet voice!!!
They are a great band. Wonderful musicianship! The lead singer isn't imitating anyone. He may have slight tones that are reminiscent, but it's unique in its own way. And I love it!
I thought for sure these guys had to be from the UK when I first heard this song!😂 No matter, these guys are gonna be big! Love the clean up tempo guitars and of course this Rob Orbison-like voice on lead vocal is gonna be bigger than life!
Sooo glad I got to see this incredible talent in a really small event space @the monarch in Louisville last spring. Will look forward to more great sounds.
@@actionhotdog7211 how lucky of you! I wish I knew! I hope they'll come back soon!🙏 can't stop listening them since I saw them on Kelly's show today 🙉
Have you ever heard a song that makes you stop what you are doing and snap to attention? If not almost make your heart stop? "Impressively Average" did that to me. And that happens (to me), given the la-la pop music of today, only every five years or so (Although I do like some more "pop" stuff like The War on Drugs song "I Don't Live Here Anymore," and so on). All I can say about this song is WOW. ABSOLUTELY WOW. ABSOLUTELY F***ING WOW!!! I have seen the references to the Smiths, the Strokes, Elvis, Roy Orbison, and so on, in terms of what people hear in this song. I agree with them all. This song is a little like a fine red wine--everyone who samples it has a slightly different take on the taste. "Tastes of Elderberry and Blueberry," "Wild Berries and a hint of Walnut," "My palate detects Strawberries, Blackberries, and Almonds." 🙂 The great range of the lead singer's voice brings to mind LP, a female equivalent, who recently came on my radar screen. Thank God that great Indie Rock still exists, and that WXRT supplies it to us here in Chicago.
Your every song📻📀 could sound exactly the same on an album and I would still support your artistry and buy it because I love your specific sound, vibe, danceable melodic sing alongs, and nearly untouchable dramatic epic feeling vocals. It has been a while since the last song release which earned me subscribing to your channel. I couldn't believe you guys weren't huge a year ago...much less now! It has to be coming for ya soon...but until it does, I will enjoy the likely possibility I could attend a live show at a still somewhat humble venue where scalpers and ticket prices aren't monstrous. This is all to say: Your band makes incredibly catchy and intoxicating music - stellar skills!👏🏻🙌🏻💃🏻🎸🎙🎉🎵🎼🎶
I bought tickets as soon as they went on tour for "The Future Is Our Way Out". Reasonably priced and at a small venue. Show is tonight and the excitement is killing me! ❤
I want to hear you guys do 'Frankly Mr Shankly' or any cover by the Smiths or Morrissey-- You guys are one of the best alternative bands that have come out for years. Had never heard you guys before but was listening to KRML in California and we just blasted your music. Some of us are getting older and we have to conserve our hair but back in the old days we had some great hair like your band members. How do we say 'you guys rock' in American? Come to Canada if you can, we'd love to see you in Saskatchewan, although we fear with your talent, you'll probably be stuck in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver doing multiple shows. If we're older and still rocking out to your new music, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! We can't turn it past 11 or we'll get booted out of our condo.
Sounds nothing like The Smiths. Can’t replace Morrissey, Marr, Rourke, and Joyce. His voice is the only thing similar to Morrissey. Great alt band either way.
I truly hop and do believe that this band has an incredibly bright future
The sound likes The smiths, the caratcers likes A-Ha
The songs are excellent
They will!!!
I love this band, and I hope for "beaucoup plus"
Can easily imagine their concerts filled with folks in their 50s being transported back through time and loving every damn second of it.
Holy #1 with a bullet, Batman. I haven't been this excited about a band since the 80's! These guys are incredible.
Agreed!!!
Yeah I get you. But have you never heard of the Killers?
Im convinced this dude is James Dean. If this were the 50’s, this guy would have been on the same level. Look at this guy.
James Dean channeling Morrissey....
Wow, wow, wow. Incredible song. Keep on working hard and release some more albums!
A new rock band for the masses to get excited about…finally!!!
I'm in total awe of this band. This is JUST what we ALL need❤️
Saw them in Michigan recently. They were great! Diverse crowd young and old!
Vauxhall-like Morrissey, nailing Elvis' vibrato, Killers on coke, almost bordering on some Stephen Morris, with side of Strokes vibes - I mean, wow. The comparisons are gonna fly with you gents, but what you have collectively is just utterly unique!
Yes Morrissey!!
You are right on 🎯💯%!!!
I love them because they make me want to sing along
Why bring up coke? Drugs aren’t cool you don’t have to do drugs to be a rockstar or be cool
Fantastic sound...Morrissey meets Jay Black from Jay and the Americans...WOW❤❤❤
That's a fucking great voice !!!
I cant believe they're American? I thought British or perhaps some Scandinavian band. So good
I someone describe them as Roy Orbison meets the Smiths. :) I love that jangle guitar... very Marr, and the vocalist definitely has Morrissey tones. So far I'm loving it...
I just said exactly that. I try to keep up but missed this. It's amazing.
Missing the bass of Rourke and drums of Joyce though.
Rock is not dead. Thank you.
@mikedavis8008green day lost their touch
The best song I've heard this year.

I’m in love 😍
The Killers of the 2020s. I will blast this in my car like I used to do with Mr. Brightside.
Great song, great singer, great video ! well done guys ....!
I heard this on college radio while driving and immediately made a note of the band name. What an amazing retro 80's alt sound!
WOW. THIS BAND IS GREAT!
It's been so long since a band hit me in the feels like this. I didn't think at my age I'd be blown away by a new band again. This lot are absolutely outstanding.
What a voice! Great song. Now on my list of great songs to crank up at home and sing loudly! Love it!
FR that was great, soooo many influences.
Heard this on The Buzz 99.9. Instant fan. COME TO MONTREAL!!!!!!!!!
This song is one of the best I heard in ages!!!! It talks to the soul and makes you feel happy, and just want to dance all around the room!!!!!❤❤❤❤
how right you are !!!!!!
This song healed a little part of my soul
Just heard this on FM radio driving home. Super impressed and excited to hear more!

Me too on all!!
Me too!!!!
Me too!!! 91.7 UNT! Then I saw this video and it's like I'm back in 1985 going nuts over a cool band!
Heard this on a customer's car and liked it immediately so had to write the title of the song on my hand.
I was at their show last night at The Bottom Lounge in Chicago. They opened for The Last Dinner Party. BCMB knocked it out of the park!! I predict that they, and The Last Dinner Party, will be a LOT bigger one year from now than they are today.
Totally excellent show all the way around .. I hope they post that Careless Whisper cover they do somewhere soon. That was Amazeballs

They were awesome! Both bands put on a fantastic show.
Doesn't anyone but me see this as an homage to the over-the-top emotional tunes of the late 50's- early 60's?
There is a lot of Roy Orbison in this. Although he was not as angsty and vulnerable in his music as Morrissey.
Heard this song on the radio yesterday and now it's on repeat for me. Wishing the band the best, hit it big!
I love a crooner!
heard this on the way back to work after my lunch break *car radio* . it got stuck in my head .. kept saying the band name till i got back to my desk in case i forgot it before i looked them up haha
awesome and powerful band
a rock voice that is powerful without screaming wow and vibratto spot on interesting
This band is my current musical obsession ❤❤❤❤❤
88.5 florida ❤that's where i discovered you! I got goose bumps 😮❤
Reminiscent of Depeche Mode performing "Just Can't Get Enough" live on Top of the Pops back in the early '80s - that incredibly lush, smoked velvet voice!!!
Loving this band !
Omg, sounds like a throwback type of song, absolutely LOVE it!!
Goosebumpin baby
A lead-singer with BIG hair again... finally!
Im starting to think his inspiration is elvis presley.... nah...
Saw this band at the Q101 Twisted Xmas concert at Aragon Ballroom. Awesome performance!
His Voice is Crazy 🫡
MORRISSEY!!! ♥️👌♥️
You guys are gonna be superstars in no time. Mark my words!
Man awesome song ❤ my kind of rock 😊👍 20 years ago I will program this song on LA indie 103.1 FM, to bad this station is no longer 😢
They are a great band. Wonderful musicianship! The lead singer isn't imitating anyone. He may have slight tones that are reminiscent, but it's unique in its own way. And I love it!
YES! ❤
Excellent Excellent bravo du Son!!!!!!
Wow. I am mezmerized. Its like Moz and Roy.
Listening to you from Lima, Peru!!! Excellent song, very good rock!
Chicago's own!
Greatest named band of all time! And they’re really good!
This song reminds me of “Need you around” by the Smoking Popes. They are opening for Airborne toxic on their tour. Love it!!!!!
You have a very good ear for music.
I dig these Cats in my late 60's
I’m in my late 50’s and always looking for amazing new music!

Like Elvis and the Smiths had a spiritual child. I can’t wait for the album on Spotify. 😎
Caught a bit of the Righteous Brothers in there too.
I was hearing Roy Orbison and the fratellis. My husband heard a little Killers. LOVE IT.
@@SunMiFontaine yes! I think it’s so great that their first music video is getting them the attention they deserve!
I hear Elvis and Johnny Cash
The album is out!
Simply amazing!!!!!

His voice sounds like Roy Orbison's.
Sounds like Big Blue Hearts from LA. Also Brian Ferry and Roxy Music
Bryan Ferry meets Morten Harket! What a voice. Devin, Jeremy, Trevor and Jack kill it, too. ❤
I just heard this song for the first time and thought the song is awesome. Had to look you up love this fresh sound !
I wasn't looking for a song to be stuck in my head, then these guys come along with this banger! Well played guys!!!
Mexico love´s you ❤
Absolutely wonderful !
his range is like jay from jay and the americans from the 60's
His voice is a bit like that too! I hear a bit of Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and a little bit of Elvis as well.
