It was a fierce battle camp😅
This time, I went to “Fumotoppara Campsite” in Shizuoka Prefecture🚗
At this campsite at the foot of Mt. Fuji, you can see Mt. Fuji from anywhere on a clear day.
One of Japan's most popular campgrounds 🗻✨
However, because the wilderness is so vast, once a strong wind blows, a blast with a wind speed of over 20 m/s blows.
This campsite is also known as the ``Tent Graveyard''.
The reason I visited this time was the supermarket I always stopped at when I came here.
We received information from a viewer that "Yodobashi Days" will be closing.
I finally decided to go and see it and made plans 😊
But unfortunately, on that day, a low pressure system approached...
Heavy snow forecast, mainly in the Kanto region, as a precautionary measure
Expressways that are expected to receive heavy snowfall have been closed in advance.
As a result, your arrival time at the campsite will be significantly delayed.
"This time's highlights"
・The wind speed was 1m/s when we arrived, but it increased to 12m/s! ! A very difficult camp
・A blizzard that was unlike anything I had ever experienced in snow camping before.
・Strong winds peak at 21:00 - danger of tent collapse approaches! !
・Camping meal is ``Motsuni'' made with pork offal, miso, and demi-glace sauce.

The maximum wind speed on this day was approximately 12m/s
The wind speed is just an average value, so the wind is blowing at 1.5 to 3 times the wind speed at any moment.
In other words, the instantaneous wind speed is about 18 to 35 m/s.
It's impossible to go camping in these conditions.
Winds strong enough to suspend expressways, trains, ferries, etc.
After all, strong winds are the natural enemy of camping.
Fumotoppara Campsite is a very nice campsite.
Even if this happens, I want to enjoy the best camping experience here again.
