I love how the director slowed down the song beacuse and how he made the men’s back off and let the girls sing that was beautiful 😍😍, I love his arrangement of this ! I think that was great the words was very very stunning love the tone quality of the men’s when they mesto piano !😍😍
oh gosh their voices are stellar. the intonation is *chef's kiss*. one of my favourite versions of this piece i've found so far.
Wow. ! I wish i could met That Conductor ! And That basses
my high school had a director just like this director here in this video.... this song was sang beautifully when I was in choirs just like this choir. alot of people say I shouldn't place my old high school chamber choir in the same category as a professional chorus but if you saw the plats and first place trophies in the chorus room you would think again. our voices were advanced and we were very dedicated...... this choir song beautifully and the arrangement was done right to me. brought chills in my body... I love it, and I that's how it's supposed to be song... job well done guys
Quiet slow But ! Wow ! nice resonance !
I thought the diction was perfect and the timbre of the ladies voices was beautiful!!! It was just too slow for my taste but sang beautifully!!!
gloRia ?
Overall this is pretty good. Just a couple of things. This was a little slow for my liking, and there were one or two sopranos just sticking out with too much vibrato. Other than that, good job! :)
Its called Stacato .
+John Henry Prado We get that the staccato was marked in one section, but throughout the entire piece, the sopranos had too much vibrato. The staccato was fine. The vibrato was not.
Sorry for the necro-post. While I typically feel this pieces should be done faster, for how live the hall is, I actually found myself really digging the slower tempo
why are there so many black women, dont they know what this song MEANS???
MultiTwentyseven what does it mean?
"Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to thy name give the glory" It is a religious piece. I didn't know black women weren't supposed to sing praise to a higher power?
Only an American with a bad racial attitude would make such a comment. The rest of the world doesn't think that way. This has no bearing on race, the words are given above by A M. I really have no concept where on earth you are coming from with your comment, it's just simply uncalled for. This just astounds me.
The composer of this piece is a a black woman.
As good as this is. I just heard another version all I can say is omg. ruclips.net/video/vnCLUFT2FcY/видео.html
