My city has flowerbeds all over the city that people sign up to take care of.. and the city even has a contest for them. Many local businesses sponsor the bigger street/roundabout gardens. It's always a pleasure seeing pop up gardens in sidewalks and along streets!

Just a friendly correction. Those aren’t water guns. They’re Bug-a-salt guns. They’re made to get rid of nuisance insects such as flys and mosquitos by shooting them with ordinary table salt. They’re pretty fun. I have the Shredder by that company and it’s the most effective 🔫🤠🧂

Is there a resource I can go to check on local, native wildflowers in my California town so I can try this also? Is it just the seeds or is there a mix like potting soil?
