Finally, someone who I can relate better to, tired of these videos where freshman year they're already throwing 110 I disc or something crazy. Awesome work dude!
I threw 110 Disc as a Freshman, but only threw 130 as a Senior. So nothing to be proud of. My younger brother threw 80' as a Freshman and 150+ as a Senior. So, don't be impressed with precocious Freshman. It means nothing in the long run.
Rn I'm a sophmore throwing 43 for shot and 130 for disc. Freshman year my pr was 105 for disc and 37 for shot so it all comes through hard work and the weightroom
I am 1 and a half years in an 17 and throw the discus 164... 50 m and never train shot put (all of my throws are at competition) and do a glide 49...15 m...I am not very big but tall
Great video. And, yes, throwers can run too. I remember once in college these three distance runners wanted to enter a 4x200 and I ended up being the fourth man on the relay. To the surprise of the distance runners, I ran a 25 second split, which is still technically a bad time, but it wasn't nearly as bad as they were expecting a shot putter to run.
I really like this video! You had a really good base form that you were able to grow on (cudos to you’re coach, cause getting a freshman not to cut short on the circle is hard) congrats on the big throws
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

I’ll tell ya this DHS has some coaches. My throws coach doesn’t even make us weight lift.
What was shot weight from start to end
12lbs start to end
What grade were you in the first year?
9th grade
I have a friend in 7th grade and he beat my school record and got 133.4 feet
Age?
He was 14 years old as a 9th grade freshman and 17 as a 12th grade senior (one year younger than most)
@@throwrightfarhappens Then really he is good. Keep it up.
Are you throwing in college
No :(
Throwing in college is overrated getting phone calls at 4:30 in the morning to pee in a cup is the worst.

Great video but your guy throws it like a baseball not correct form not correct position
