MTR is the life line of the city, not just these kids, but i saw parents and seniors all going to the station taking photos and memorialising this historical day of our city. Really brings hope despite all the negativity online, kids nowadays are still capable of experiencing joy in something as simple and important as the MTR. I love hongkong MTR, it literally can transport us to almost every place in Hong Kong. It inspired many Asian cities to do the same, like Bangkok BTS and Jakarta MRT. Still, nothing compares to hongkong MTR, millions passenger capacity, great total distance, many many shops around the MRT. I think the only downside is how hongkong people always seems like running in the MTR area, even their MTR escalators are so much faster and higher than the regular asian MRT escalators.
