I keep my seasonal decor prints in the back of my frames (behind my current print) when I change seasons. That way when I'm ready to change seasons, I just open the frame and swap out the print and don't have to wonder where I stored my prints. Saves on frames as well.
Sharrah Hi! Could you please do a video on how to transition from one decor style to another , for instance from Farmhouse to Scandinavian orTraditional , What to do when your OVER your style!
I changed out my living room coffee table & end from a dark wood to a oak, it looks better as the floors in this house are oak flooring. My question is my baseboards need a clean up to a oak color & maybe an additional top railing on it to give a defined look. Undecided. Also, closet storage ideas, however, I have a coat closet that is a small closet that has a step stair shelving because of a basement stair case on the other side. I would love to make that a pantry if that was possible.
Hi Sharrah❤ I enjoyed this so much. I also use vinegar in my dishwasher to clean it. Instead of the detergent, put in about a cup of vinegar and run it through the cycle. It’s transforming! I also have had the stinky towel problem in the washer. Vinegar is great, but so is baking soda- which absorbs and neutralizes odors. Also, to get stainless steal faucets, appliances to really shine, use rubbing alcohol. This is a trick long used by high-end restaurants and hotels❤
Hi Sharrah. I really hope you read my comment. You will never loose me as a subscriber. I have thought to myself recently that you must be overwhelmed by the direction your life is going, so full of children and work and all that daily routines to balance. I admire your family so much. They bring so much joy that 16:40 we all look forward to seeing in all the videos we watch. We have come to love your family and everything that you share (including your heart felt honestly).i. It just goes to shows how human you are, to spill your heart out. We don’t know each other , but I feel I know you and how your feeling. I’m happy to hear the you finally made the right decision for you and your family. It is the right thing to do. Take a step back and breathe. Take the time to enjoy the best times of your life. I to after 37 years of working at the same place have decided to retire, and enjoy life and my family. I wish you the best and will be here to cheer you on in the future……..all the best, Ginette 15:24
use command strips to hang artwork or other decor on the walls, when it's time to move things around use a hair dryer to remove the strips from the walls this way the sheetrock does not get destroyed.
The tape is called seam binding tape or hem tape. If you have dark rooms due to the orientation of the property large mirrors help bounce light if you can place it across or next to a window.
Good evening Sharrah! Also, top off faux plants with Spanish moss or green moss on inside plants plus outside potted plants! The moss helps retain moisture on the outside plants! 💕
I remember all of these amazing hacks honey... You've made things look sooo much better in all of your houses/apartments... YESSS the curtain no-sew hack is a great one :-) I remember when you added that marblized contact paper to your countertops in your Kensington house!!! Unbelievable difference 👍That peel and stick tile fooled even ME!!! Such a great hack honey 🙌 As for the ETSY art hack... you've inspired me to find art pieces I can use in my Master Retreat... It's on my list💪 Oh my goodness... LOVE the lightbulb hack! This fixes so many problems! The 3-M velcro thingy is new to me but something I will look into! I'm in total agreement with the stain pens! They have saved my (you know what :-))) many times! "really great floor realestate under your bed" That was funny... but so true! REAL DIRT under faux plants??? That's GENIUS! Great video honey ❤RR
So many helpful ideas! My favorite is going vertical with storage solutions! Use ALL the space! I love everything about helpful storage solutions! You can never have too much storage if you like to seasonally decorate or just like to mix things up a bit, or perhaps fully enjoy clothing and accessories options! This girl loves good storage! If I could wave a magic wand I’d give stroll in kitchen pantries, room sized walk-in closets, butler pantries and clutter rooms for anyone who loves everything in its place and a place for everything... when they happen to like a lot of everything! But until then, good storage hacks are fabulous! 🥰😊😘 Instead of adding real dirt to your faux plants you may want to try adding sphagnum moss. It’s also an attractive finish to add to live plants because it helps keep the moisture in your plants, as well as looking more aesthetically pleasing. I’m not sure you can keep little hands out of it but that may also be true about the dirt! 😉🙃🤷🏻♀️ Bonus info. on the Windex jewelry cleaning hack: Be careful with cleaning ALL your jewelry with Windex... avoid using ammonia products on Opals and Pearls! Museum putty is a great item to have on hand to help your framed pictures on the wall stay level. Also a handy little helper in tablescapes, vignettes on shelves or in bookcases, Christmas decor, or just when the angle you want is not gravity friendly and may need some hidden assistance to stay put. Also it’s a great tool for those social media content creators for their flat lay photography! Museum putty is your friend for so many applications. 🥰
Love your idea about putting real dirt on a fake plant. I bought a fake fiddle leaf plant at a thrift store for $12. I was going to put fake moss on it. Now I’m going to put dirt. 😊
After watching all of your videos over the last 4 years, I will never unsee improperly hung curtains. It hurts my soul when they're too low and too short 😅
Hey Sharrah, you’re getting closer to the million subscriber goal! I remember when you’d say it was your goal and you had about 100k and now I can see it happening this year:) xo ❤
I've been using vinegar as a rinse agent/fabric softener in my laundry for years instead of fabric softener. It works great and has not wrecked my washing machine (front loading) as some state it does.
Oh great text sweet girl. I must say that I have considered a good bit of them. But funny that under the bed hack. Oh my is where I keep lots of things in bins and not in bins. Lol thanks again have a blessed day and that baby boy is getting so so big and adorable. They both are be blessed.❤
First comment! Let's see, I bet I've used all of these hacks. The peel-and-stick subway tile is a game changer! I'm pretty sure everyone who comes over just assumes it's real tile.
I will be putting this video in my back pocket 😉 you are so funny, your ideas are always so good. You definitely are so talented and have a wonderful personality. 💕
Thanks for sharing! If you use Windex (chemical glass cleaner) to clean real jewelry then I’m assuming you can just use distilled white vinegar. Windex is just basically vinegar with artificial color and other junk to clean glass. The natural alternative is putting distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle (optional to add fav essential oil in bottle for scent) to clean glass. And now to clean your jewelry hehe. Also, another cool hack is to spray RainX (Target, Amazon, etc) on your clean glass shower doors, windows, and car windows. The water just beads right off and it makes cleaning a lot easier for those surfaces. Keep in stock as a natural ingredient cleaning kit …distilled white vinegar, baking soda, old tooth brush, fresh lemons, essential oils, microfiber cloths, empty spray glass bottles, gloves, cleaning caddy to transport from room to room, etc…then google the different combinations to use to clean each part of your home, office, or vehicle. Hope it helps!🙂
Love all of your hacks! Except for adding real dirt to faux plants. This does not apply to households that have cats! LOL Too easy to use as a litterbox!
I love the idea of hanging curtains near the ceiling. What about a triple window that has a half circle window above the middle window. Do you hang the rod over the top of the half circle window? There's a 3 inch clearance from the ceiling to the top of the circle. I just want the curtains on the sides. I will not be closing them.
Lots of great ideas. Not sure if this is a hack but when I renovated my kitchen I had the old wood cabinets moved into the laundry room, painted them and changed the hardware. Also, I use one of those cube organizers for my shoes which I have in clear plastic storage bins. Two of the clear bins can fit stacked in one cube section of the cube organizer.
About curtains…what if you have smallish windows in a room with high ceilings? And, there’s literally two feet between the top of the window and the ceiling? Does that not look odd to have so much space?
Hi Heather, perhaps you can layer the curtains? Maybe you can use two curtains in two different tones: one (for example Roman style), extending up in the same width of the window, but adding the height to your window, and the other one hung as regular curtains. It will kinda look like your window has a half-closed curtain (but you are not actually minimizing the size of your window because your 'Roman curtain' is basically just covering the wall above the window). For that curtain though, I'd make sure it's opaque. That's what I would do. Hope it helps. Edit: or, you can create an arch or something with a wallpaper above the window, if that's easier.
I remember Kinko’s. Didn’t skanky girl that Ross slept with work at Kinko’s on Friends? Anyways…FedEx bought out Kinko’s and there were FedExKinkos. Now I think it’s just FedEx. I’m in North Texas.

Ooohhh this is SUCH a great idea!!! I will definitely make a video on this! Thanks for the suggestion!
This would be amazing! Maybe even seeing how you could repurpose decor
Great hacks ! All are doable! Thank you!

Kinkco’s retired from here some years ago!
I can’t understand why you don’t have billions of views 😅
Love your videos!!!
I learned most from your mom and you!!! Changed my life ❤ thank you!!!

A favorite idea of mine is placing a huge jade tree in my sunny window! It really brings the outside in and instantly increases value!
Good evening Sharrah! Also, top off faux plants with Spanish moss or green moss on inside plants plus outside potted plants! The moss helps retain moisture on the outside plants! 💕
If you're worried about moss (like me since I have a cat who likes to eat everything), you can also use attractive rocks.

Love that you are here cheering her on like you do! So sweet!!
Always use vinegar in place of fabric softener in my washing maching. 😊

The peel and stick subway tile in the laundry room is such a good idea. I'm definitely taking that from you! Brilliant idea

Curtains hung way up high & downloaded art work you can print are my top 2 favorite hacks. 🙂
Love the tip about the no swe tape! Thank you+
Some really great ideas for home improvement, thanks Sharrah!
You can also add eucalyptus oil to your towels and sheets- disinfects and antimicrobial. And smells great!
Hey Sharrah, you’re getting closer to the million subscriber goal! I remember when you’d say it was your goal and you had about 100k and now I can see it happening this year:) xo ❤
Hi Sharrah! What white curtains are you currently recommending?
Thanks for another good video! Great tips!
When you print artwork use watercolor or sketch paper.
Awesome ideas, thank you so much. You and your mom are just awesome and teach us so much!
You are so amazing.💕 love all your suggestions.

Hello! Would you be able or do you already have a video talking about corners? Filling corners because they just look empty and such!
Oh great text sweet girl. I must say that I have considered a good bit of them. But funny that under the bed hack. Oh my is where I keep lots of things in bins and not in bins. Lol thanks again have a blessed day and that baby boy is getting so so big and adorable. They both are be blessed.❤
I have wondered best way to shorten my curtains from IKEA. Thanks for the great tip!

RainX is a toxic substance. Probably not a great idea for indoors.
Can you put peel and stick tile on flat paint? Or you there be satin paint underneath?
Love it!
Brilliant plant hack! 😂
can you share the link of your large art from minted?
I love vinegar…tastes delicious! We drown our french fries in it. We always have a bottle in the fridge.
Love all of your hacks! Except for adding real dirt to faux plants. This does not apply to households that have cats! LOL Too easy to use as a litterbox!

btw - there are special tools for pressing down on contact paper.
Where did you get your shirt from?
Great video xx

Kinko’s, LOL, I did not know they were bought out by Fed Ex either. I use to use them in college.
Great hacks!
I’m in Wisconsin n we used to have kinks now u have to go to staples
You can wash lots of things in the laundry machine and dishwasher…toys, shoes, vacuum accessories, etc.
Kinkos 🤣🤣🤣 I didn't realize it was gone either...
Great ideas. Just disappointing the blurry video.
Cool name. My name is Sharyl, so similar!

Ha ha ha, sometimes if I buy a old painting that has no monetary value I use colored pencils and color in the Nick's and scratches. It works well.
I remember Kinko’s. Didn’t skanky girl that Ross slept with work at Kinko’s on Friends? Anyways…FedEx bought out Kinko’s and there were FedExKinkos. Now I think it’s just FedEx. I’m in North Texas.
Perl and stick tiles destroy dry wall
👍👍👍
🥰
Lately I’ve been noticing that your videos are a bit blurry. 😮
When credit cards come in the mail they have a clear sticky glue on the back. WHAT IS IT CALLED? Does Amazon sell it?
Also. Real plants don’t grow in cheap wicker baskets. Repot fake plants
Old contents
I feel like it was fedex-kinkos for a while (because that’s the important comment here 😂)
I love the tip about adding dirt to a fake plant 💡
